Holiday Inn Mobile - Airport

We stayed overnight in this hotel courtesy of the airline because of an plane mechanical problem.quiet room, so comments are basic.|The front desk was very courteous and helpful. It was easy to get a shuttle from the airport and return in the morning. Ride to the airport was about 15-20 minutes.|The room and bathroom were clean. The bed was comfortable. WiFi worked well. We did not look at TV, so no comment. Clothes storage was adequate. Mini-fridge and microwave functional. There were multiple outlets for charging.|Bathroom was also clean. It had a shower-tub arrangement; you have to step over the rim of the tub to get into the shower; it was not walk-in. There was a grab bar near the faucet, none on the back wall. There was a slip-proof floor, but not very slip-proof when soap was on it. Soap was a liquid body wash, no bar soap. Towels were soft.|The hall carpet was stained.|There is a restaurant/bar on site. Meals are charged to the room. Food was basic American food: burger, buffalo wings, salads, a fish dish which I cannot remember, fries, etc. Also served breakfast meals in the morning. We were able to get takeout to take to the airport.|We were unable to explore the neighborhood nor the hotel's other amenities so I do not know if we would return to this place. But we slept well, the staff was good and the shuttle worked well for us.

I want to take a moment to recognize Ms. Angela for going above and beyond during our stay for the Senior Bowl. From the moment we arrived, she took such great care of me, my dad, and my daughter, and it truly meant everything to us. She made our stay seamless, comfortable, and stress-free, especially since my mom, who usually travels with us, couldn’t be there. What made it even more special is that her name is Angela as well, which felt like a God moment. The hotel was clean, the staff was kind, and the service was excellent, but Ms. Angela truly stood out. She is a blessing to your team, and I highly recommend this Holiday Inn to anyone visiting the area.

We stayed here unexpectedly on short notice due to a historic snow event. The front desk staff especially Kaelah and Angela were amazing. They were accommodating helpful kind and cheerful during a stressful time. I cannot say enough good things about these ladies. They deserve a bonus and a raise. The gentleman in the restaurant was also pleasant and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable as was the lobby area.

We had a wonderful stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Mobile. Angela at the front desk was more than accommodating with our reservations and need for an early check in. We slept beautifully in our nice room. Breakfast this morning was fresh, delicious and served with a smile and friendly conversation! Thank you all!

We arrived last night to a room without a working microwave. And no fridge. This morning at breakfast, my family and I were stopped and asked to go purchase a ticket to eat breakfast there this morning, which boggled my mind because I booked this particular hotel because it included FREE BREAKFAST. I also noticed the gentleman did not ask ANYONE ELSE for a ticket that showed an extra purchase for breakfast. When we finally did go in to eat, the options only included 6 items. There was an entirely empty counter all along the breakfast area….so you’re charging me for absolutely no food here. I spent more than I think I should’ve for this room and I am very upset by how we were treated in the breakfast area this morning.

The room smelled like mildew and the bed was super uncomfortable. Also they hold your security deposit for 7-10 days after check out. The staff was nice

I am writing to formally report a serious issue that occurred during my stay at your hotel over Thanksgiving week. During my stay, I discovered bugs crawling in my bed. I have video evidence documenting the issue. I informed the front desk immediately, and I was told that management would reach out to me. However, no one contacted me, so I followed up on my own. When I did, I was told once again that management would call me back. The call I received was not from management, but from the same front desk host. She stated that the manager told her to contact me, which was unprofessional and contradictory to what I had been told. During this call, I was also incorrectly informed that a refund could not be processed because my reservation was allegedly made through a third party. This is false, as I booked directly, which I explained multiple times. After being placed on hold for several minutes, the manager finally got on the call. She identified herself as the General Manager and Front Office Manager, but her behavior was dismissive and unprofessional, and she refused to properly address the situation. I travel frequently and have never experienced such poor handling of an issue especially one related to the cleanliness and safety of the room. I am requesting an appropriate follow-up from upper management, as this matter was not handled in a professional or acceptable manner.
