Walnut Lawn Bed & Breakfast

Beautiful bed and breakfast. Great location. Beth is an amazing hostess. She goes above and beyond to make your visit enjoyable. She’s also a great cook. It was the first time I had dessert at breakfast! Everything was delicious.

After a series of average inn and B&B stays in New England on this trip, Beth restored our faith in B&Bs. We really like having breakfast at a set time family style so it was refreshing to see Beth keeping up this tradition. She has lots of return guests, some of whom we met at breakfast and puts everyone at ease. Our room was spotless with great toiletries and linens. Breakfast was an excellent 3-courses that was as good a breakfast as we’ve had anywhere. Thanks again for the hospitality Beth.

If you have never experienced a true bed and breakfast or are even an experienced traveler, you must stay at Beth' Walnut Lawn B and B. Too often today we check in digitally but here you are welcomed by your host in person. The rooms are spotless and comfortable and the home cooked country breakfast is the best from appetizer to dessert. The actual best part is the morning conversations at the breakfast table ( nope no separate tables here) and the " friends " you meet on your way!

Imagine if your favorite cousin was Ina Garten and she opened a B&B! Well that's just how owner/innkeeper Beth makes you feel. She treats you like family, cooks like the "Barefoot Contessa" and pays attention to every detail! The rooms are immaculate, the sheets are soft and silky, the beautiful quilts are warm and cozy, and showers have actual water pressure! Beth, greets you and gives you a house tour making sure you know where everything is and how everything works. She has thought of everything including ear plugs and a white noise machine in case you are a really light sleeper. We didn't need either once the lights were out! Breakfast is at 8:30 each morning and is a three course affair that is sure to please! Beth could give Ina Garten a run for her money in the kitchen any day! Any dietary restrictions/preferences are honored. If you're not full after the feast, it's your own fault! The Inn has only four guest rooms, so you really feel at home during your stay. The two sitting rooms downstairs are comfortable and inviting and gave us a chance to meet the other guests. Walnut Lawn is in the heart of Amish Country and convenient to all the attractions. I stayed here for 3 nights and I had a wonderful stay. Beth serves a wonderful Breakfast! Infact she is very considerate of people's needs and can accomandate them. When I first arrived Beth asked me if I wanted a larger room. I didn't take it because I was comfortable where I was. That was very thoughtful of her to do. She also gave me great recommendations where to eat. I should have asked her the first day. Also which is great is you get to talk with other guest at the dinner table and it was nice meeting everyone. I did get to meet Chris her husband and Rooney the Dog! I would highly recommend the Walnut Lawn Bed & Breakfast!!

We loved our time at Walnut Lawn BnB!! Host Elizabeth was so very thoughtful thinking of every detail we would need. Her 3 course breakfast was delicious and took into account any dietary needs. It is a beautiful and exceptionally clean home and we loved hearing the horse and buggies go clip clop down the road. We will return again (from SC) and send our PA families here!

We had a wonderful weekend at this Bed & Breakfast. Beth was a marvelous host and our room was clean and cozy. I would highly recommend the Walnut Lawn Bed and Breakfast to anyone staying in the Lancaster area.
