Astoria Rivershore Motel

Positive: "" Negative: The mattresses were broken down and uncomfortable. So much dirt in all corners, thin walls (could hear snoring in next room, and lots of road noise.

The lodging was no frills, room 116 was clean, but was shoebox size with a comfy bed and not worth the price we paid for the night. There is no where to lounge or relax on site out of the room and it was on a main road with a view of the parking lot and roadway so the noise made it a bit loud. However, I give the staff high marks for their customer service when we left an item behind and they contacted us promptly to retrieve it.

We LOVED this hotel! I had read reviews regarding bug issues and I almost listened to them and cancelled our reservation but I’m SOOOO happy we didn’t! The rooms were very very clean, updated, I loved the fact that (with the room we chose) we had a door separating the beds. Kitchenette could use some more silverware as we only had one spoon but the man at the front desk was so nice and gave us a bunch of plastic spoons. I asked his name before we left but I forgot it, I wish I could give him a shout out because his customer service was exceptional as was everyone’s that we interacted with there. We came with a large group and rented multiple rooms and they were all very clean. I understand how road noise can be an issue but they do provide you with nice box fans already in the rooms and I didn’t notice any noise. There is a pier that we can walk out directly across the street, our kids loved waking up to the large ships passing by. We will most definitely stay here every time we are in town!

We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again for sure. We found the bed comfortable, the ac and heat worked how we expected, it was walkable (for us) to most things we wanted to do in Astoria, and the staff we interacted with were kind and friendly. If you’re sensitive to the sounds of shared walls and road noise, bring earplugs and a good attitude. Astoria Rivershore Motel is a great, budget friendly option to enjoy a weekend away. Great room especially for the rate! Was a great place to feel clean and dry after being on the beach getting sandy and wet. I will definitely be staying here again.

Tyler is amazing. Great recommendations! Beds/bathroom were clean, TV and WiFi worked well, and so did the appliances. You’re a 5-10 minute walk from two hubs of Astoria dining/culture. The coffee is surprisingly tasty (I mean it is the PNW so I’d hope so but top 3 motel coffees I’ve had).

We stayed on the end in a room with two beds and a kitchen. It was remarkably clean when we arrived. It looks newly remodeled. Could have used a couple more check ins by maid service but for the price and size of the room it's an awesome deal. Road in front is busy but you get a good view of the ships going by.
