The Pink Guest House

I stayed here from June 1-October1 in the lower level apartment "the cellar". The space couldn’t be more comfortable and charming. Well equipped with everything you could possibly need including full size stackable washer and dryer. The grounds are lovely and the location is perfect. Sherry is an absolute doll and the management team was so easy to work with. It was a perfect summer getaway.

I stayed with Sherry for a few weeks. The house and apartment were very well maintained. Everything was in top condition and very clean. Sherry always took care of all our needs promptly. She is a very gracious host. In addition to the beautiful house, the location is also top-notch. There's a Co-op with fresh groceries just around the corner, and downtown is about a 5-minute walk away. Highly recommended.

We were guests of the Pink House for three months in the early part of 2025. We were absolutely delighted and impressed with not only the apartment, but the friendly reception from the owner and her staff. The apartment was lovely, clean, and well taken care of. It felt just like home (maybe better??) from the moment we stepped in the door. Everything we needed for an extended stay was there….all we needed to provide was ourselves. The location couldn’t be beat. Only a few short blocks brought us to the downtown core, and we felt safe walking even at night. We were also appreciative of having a place that allowed us to bring our dog along, and trusted we would take care of the apartment with a large animal in tow. Thank you Sherri and Jacquie for everything you provided for us.

We’ve stayed in three of the apartments in The Pink Guest House in the last year and enjoyed each one (the Balcony apartment, the Basque Loft, the Cellar apartment). Our visits with Sherry and the overall positive experience with the cleanliness, the comfort, and how well each one was organized and supplied for long term rentals, led us to a three month stay in the spacious and light-filled Cellar apartment in October through December of 2024. We’re headed back soon for several more weeks. Now we plan our trips to Boise based on when Sherry has an available apartment.

I recently found myself in need of a place for two dogs and myself to temporarily (6 weeks) call home. We definitely found that at The Pink Guest House! The Carriage House had everything that we needed, was quiet, comfortable and safe. Sherry has a lovely way of being warm and welcoming without being overly involved in your day to day pursuits. The other guests and the grounds were welcome additions to the wonderful space. As a single woman I felt safe and really appreciated that I had so much of what Boise has to offer right outside my door. I would definitely recommend The Pink Guest House to all of my friends and family, and would not think twice about staying again in the future. If you are in need of a safe, comfortable downtown Boise place to stay, The Pink Guest House is a fantastic place to land!

We stayed in the carriage house, it had everything we needed plus a great patio. Close to downtown, shopping and restaurants. We highly recommend the pink house.

The Pink Guest House is in the best location for access to downtown Boise. A few minutes walk from Boise on the Block, a strip on 8th street which includes great places to grab a drink as well as a nice selection of local eats. Certainly a must to experience the real fun downtown Boise has to offer. Aside from location, The Pink Guest House provides a unique, yet cozy and comfortable place to settle in whether for a week, a month or long-term stay. Be sure to enjoy a blackberry on your way out the back gate if you are there for the summer months 😉 The place is quiet and provides all you’ll need for your stay in Boise. I recommend if you are looking in the area for a place to stay. Enjoy this little gem 🙂
