Randolph House Hotel a Trademark Collection by Wyndham Liverpool/Syracuse

In fairness, the room and bathroom was clean and the staff was nice. That's where it stops. I stayed on the 6th floor and every wall looked like this (see photos). The few guests I encountered looked like they were straight out of a trailer park. And when you have those type of people staying here, they don't understand the no smoking indoors policy (plus pot). The hallway REEKED of both kinds of smoke. They advertised breakfast and at 7 a.m. it was just cereal. The shower was just barely warm. I agree with another commentator, thus is acceptable for emergency shelter in the winter. My own fault for staying here.

Positive: Location was good- right off the highway and close to Syracuse University. Staff was friendly and helpful during a reservation mix up. Beds were comfortable. Negative: Room was not great- fridge and thermostat did not work, bathroom was tiny. Did not eat the breakfast- hot food did not look good

Hotel is close to Destiny mall. Clean room and but mattress needs to be updated or changed. Using rhe bed with my daughter, as she moves, the bed is moving too. only portable AC was working. swimming pool was temporarily closed. Plenty of parking spots is good thing. Bath tub draining bad.

The service was okay. We checked in and the staff was kind. The downsides start when we got to our floor. The walls were torn up and the hallways smelled of smoke within a nonsmoking area. When we got to our room, the headboard was torn up and FILTHY! The bathroom was small, and shower water took about 10 minutes to actually heat up. In the middle of the night, a guest began SCREAMING down the hall for hours with no one coming to see what was happening. Not only was this disturbing (in several ways) to others, it also doesn’t shine a good look on this hotel. This was a one and only stay here, and I can’t recommend it to others who are thinking of staying here.

The hotel is a take over from another. Dealing with some renovation problems. The People are dignified and professional. The communication is lacking. Housekeeping walked in unannounced because they thought i checked out. Which i did 2 days later. Aside from that the renovation issues should clear up. The heating issue was well known as I had a standing electric heater placed in my room prior to arrival. Fix those and some modernization can happen. Easy bump in stars.

The lobby is gorgeous and the staff is so friendly. As far as the room, for the price, it’s was good. My only complaint was the shower drain was backed up. The water was up to my ankles and it kind grossed me out.

I came for check in and faced a lady named TAMMY. she was busy in her ear buds and did not pay heed to me. Time and again i told i have booking but she rudely said come tomorrow at 3 pm. There's nothing for me. I showed her booking but she didn't look at that. Finally I got a room but i think she intentionally gave me this room, its washbasin is clogged. May god help management
