Stamford Suites Hotel

The hotel rooms are subpar and even that is being generous! The living furniture had a huge chair and a tiny sofa that looked like it was meant for children. The "dinning" area where clearly a table and chairs should have been was just a big empty space. The island had numerous permanent stains and the silverware was dirty with nothing available to wash it. The baseboards looked like poorly glued pieces of plastic with gaps everywhere and while the tile above the tub appeared to be newer, the tub was very old and stained. It just looked like the kind of place where roaches would reside. I was in town for a funeral and my sister and I couldn’t stomach the for one night. Checked in around 9:30pm and checked out 2 hours later. Spent that time standing eating a salad we plastic fork the restaurant included thank goodness and looking for another decent hotel. Carlton at the front desk was the only bright spot. Try as he did to accommodate us, no level of service could overcome the substandard conditions in this hotel. Don’t be lured in by price. Sometimes you get what you pay for and in this case, any amount is too much.

Very dated ...6 day stay had to keep asking for a smart TV for the living room finally got one after a few days No cooking appliances had to ask for them... eventually got them after having to translate from my phone her language I had booked months in advance for a queen suite with a sofa bed of course there was no sofa bed.. I called downstairs and spoke with the gentleman at the front desk he was willing to change our room...so ok I said no you don't have to go through the trouble but can you at least get us a roll away bed he says to me that they don't have does...so I asked to speak with housekeeping again I had to translate from my phone and eventually she had got us the roll away....the guy at the front desk was so clueless with almost everything So disappointed with this place

UPDATE: I spoke with a manager who refused to give me his name was very rude over the phone and told me it sucks to suck and they aren’t going to refund me because I was there for not even 45 minutes. I feel catfished, booking.com gave it such a high rating and when we got there it was absolutely disgusting. I can see why they are refusing to give me a refund because it looks like they aren’t getting much clientele. Dirty rooms. Smells like cigarettes and urine. The light fixtures didn’t work. Navi or "Prince" was aggressive and rude when we asked for our money back and now we have to call on Monday and talk to a manager. We were there for maybe 45 minutes. We went to the room, struggled to access the room because the door locking mechanism was jammed up, dropped our stuff and then left to walk to DQ for birthday ice cream. When we came back and went to our room again, struggled to get in the room, and then we started turning on some lights and half of them didn’t work. From the ONE light that worked in that room at the entrance by the door, we could see layered on old gunk on the carpets. I’m sorry I figured for $250 a night there would be lights and doors that worked, and a level of cleanliness and quality. Thankfully we were able to go to the Hampton Inn for half the price last minute.

Positive: "" Negative: It could have felt cleaner. Carpet in room ripped. Rusted pipes on the bathroom valves. Floor out of the elevator was looking beat up. They had a leak in the main lobby with a bucket to capture water. Breakfast was minimal. Few bagels and no toaster.

My stay at Stamford Suites Hotel was extremely disappointing. The room was in terrible condition. It was dirty, poorly maintained, and clearly not cleaned properly. The overall atmosphere felt neglected and uncomfortable. On top of that, the service was just as bad. The staff was unhelpful, unfriendly, and seemed uninterested in addressing concerns. This was a very unpleasant experience from start to finish. If you want an early check inn they charge 25$ on each hour before 4pm. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone and will definitely never stay here again. Take my advice and stay away of this property!

Arrived and got checked in. The place is in rough shape. Microwave looked new but did not work. Place was dirty and the bed was horribly uncomfortable. Carpet was covered in stains. Very out dated. TV in main area had a blown speaker. Soda machine had zero soda in it. Breakfast was a joke. Cheap cereal, apples and coffee. Not allowed to take it back to your room. Found that strange when there are appliances where you can keep food if you bring some in without but not what they provided. Would not recommend and will be notifying provider so they won't book any other stays for their patients.

Worst hotel experience of my life. The front doors are broken. The garage has a janky, loose-hanging 2x4 with a button on the end for an opener and is piled floor to ceiling with trash. The staff told us there is no extra blankets/sheets/etc available. The room was dingy, reeked of curry, and only half the lights worked. The "TV" was laying face down on a dresser in the "living room" and there was a big hole in the wall with a halfway attached TV mount still in it. The hallways smelled like a discount cigarette shop and the bathroom had hair on the walls and in the sink and tub. Opened the cupboards and there was a random vent in one that was absolutely spewing out hot onion-scented air. The gas stove was busted and one of the burner Co trolls just spun in place - I wouldn't be surprised if there was gas leaking from it. The unjt was so horrendous that we immediately left and sought accommodations elsewhere. They refused a refund and were exceptionally rude to us on the phone. Will be reporting to Stamford/Connecticut department of health.
