This is a *great* property. We were there with an entire youth hockey team, and everyone loved our stay. It's clean, well-appointed and the staff is second to none. I can't speak highly enough of everyone we encountered during our stay from the desk folks to housekeeping to the breakfast manager. That said, the breakfast is terrific. Far more options - and fresh - than most hotels in the same class. *Pro tip: if you're in a hurry, you can either heat up a breakfast sandwich - check the mini-fridge - or grab any of several dry items or fruits they make available and put them in brown bags they provide for a to-go breakfast. If you have kids, the pool is the perfect size. BIg enough for them to spread out a bit, but not so big you lose track of them. There are also two waterslides - one for toddlers, a bigger one for older kids. The attached restaurant (separate owner from the hotel) is also exceptional. I will 100% stay here again next time I'm in Fargo - whether solo, with my family or with an entire youth hockey entourage. Clubhouse Suites Fargo is an absolute gem.
Clubhouse is our regular place to stay in Fargo! Claire and the other staff, from front desk, to maintenance, to breakfast are professional, welcoming and always willing to help. The grounds are wonderful and the interior well cared for. The location of the hotel is excellent in terms of interstate access, and shopping and restaurant availability.
This hotel is gorgeous. Rooms are very nice. They even offer walkout rooms. I stayed in one of those walkout rooms and it made it easy for me as a Medical cannabis, patient to step outside and smoke however, the smell of unburned cannabis, not unlike some people‘s body order, Hurt the cleaning ladies’s nose so they decided to bill me $50 for a cleaning charge. I did not smoke in the "walkout" room. So if anybody does stay in one of those walkout rooms in this nice hotel, make sure you check your bill for a bullsjit $50 cleaning charge
My family stayed for a quick get away weekend. We really wanted to spend a lot of time in the pool area. The first night was really good and the boys enjoyed there time. The second day, the pool was much colder and the hot tub was maybe 90 degrees. A bath would have been hotter. Then a large birthday party took over the entire pool area and felt over crowded. On Sunday morning, we tried the pool again and it was even colder. The boys did not even want to go in the water. Overall it's a nice hotel. But the pool was a let down.
We had a pretty average experience at the ClubHouse. The best part was that the bed was super comfortable and there were tons of pillows. The room was also very quiet so we slept really well. I appreciated the makeup wipes & shampoo, conditioner & body wash. The breakfast was pretty mid - I expected fresher food for the price of the room. The eggs & sausages in the crock pots looked pretty gross. Some of the stuff available was in Tupperware containers, it was weird. The water for our 7am shower was lukewarm, and all of the lights in the room are pretty abrasive (too white, too bright). I'd have appreciated some soft yellow lights by the bed at least. Also, the receptionist when we checked in seemed crabby. No greeting or smile, just "Last name?" Maybe she was having a bad day so it's not that big of a deal but worth noting.
Cannot express enough how great the Clubhouse was to work with for our wedding room block. They had a good size conference room available for us to get ready in, with lots of natural light. Any questions or requests I had throughout the wedding process, they were happy to answer and accomodate. I heard tons of compliments and feedback from guests saying it was a great choice. Porter Creek is the attached restaurant, and it was a great place to host our grooms supper in their back all seasons room. Could walk right from the restaurant to the hotel via a hallway.
We love staying at the clubhouse! Great breakfast, clean rooms and a fun swim area make us want to keep coming back! Celebrated my son’s birthday there and we had lots of room for a party.
