New Star Inn. El Monte - Los Angeles

I stayed here for a few days and I was surprised how nice a motel could be compared to others. Front desk was welcoming, area was quiet and seemed safe.

This place is great! I only saw one small roach and it was because I had the bathroom window open. Place is lovely, rooms are nicer and cleaner than other similar budget motels. The family who run this are lovely, they go above and beyond and make you feel really comfortable. Noise and transience is less, good location within walking distance of starbucks, CVS and mcdonalds. I loved staying here 🙂 the bathroom was really nice as well, very new and not just a regular tub! The tv was super nice, I attached a photo of the lights. There were lots of light switches that work and airon was good. Highly rate for the price

Very calm and relaxed, perfect for staying while in town for a few days, staff very nice and informative. Would stay again.

The staff is very rude would not allow me to use their lobby at all and when you come into the place the bell rings and no one comes to the desk unless you yell for the .the fridges power cord not working because half of the prong was missing so could not keep anything in the fridge the shower was good and direct TV for the television was fine they charge you 50¢ per ice motel 6 was free. Don't go there if you don't have too motel 6 better option anywhere else better option.

I recently stayed at this motel and had a fantastic experience. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, offering a comfortable and cozy atmosphere. Great value for the price. Room even had smart TV, and was able to watch YouTube through the night. Pool was out of service, and found no trash bin in the room but it was clean.

I booked through a third-party and wasn’t aware that they charge a $10 fee a day for animals even though it says service pet friendly. The hotel does have roaches and the walls were completely dirty to be remodeled which I think they could’ve did a better job for the remodeled ones that they had just did Overall nice people great service with work with you price too high for such a place that has roaches and dirty walls and room service. Had to wipe down walls just to feel a little comfortable and make it work due to me being homeless right now with my child and service animal .The bed sheets was not all the way clean so luckily I buy my own and bring my own. I was able to use my ownsheets and covers. Actually, don’t have nowhere else to go. The housekeeper broke my laptop and lied and said she didn’t when i literally sat in my car to watch her. Owner didn’t care and said she didn’t when they wasn’t there. It’s a nice and quiet but not worth it unless you have no where to go
