MarBrisa Carlsbad Resort

Stayed for a quick one night getaway. The good….The property is beautiful. The room was nice and very clean. The pillows on the bed were fantastic! The staff was amazing! The bad….The bed was not very comfortable. One side had a big sag/hole in it and the frame made noise every time I moved. The walls are paper thin and we could hear our neighbors like they were in our room and they were not being loud, just regular talking. Parking was kinda a problem, we had to park 4 buildings away. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. Can’t beat the price. We will come back again. Hopefully we will get a better bed this time.

The property and rooms are very nice. Very communicative staff and informative signs throughout the rooms and property. One sign ask that guest be mindful of their neighbors below them, specifically between 10pm and 7am. Our experience since arriving while in our room on the 2nd level has been miserable. There is a family on the 3rd floor above who are non-stop running and pounding on the floor at all hours (mornings and nights). The property gave them a courtesy call but it did nothing. We are not enjoying our trip in the room and we are here a whole week. After being out all day and coming back in the evenings it’s extremely frustrating and stressful to hear that until after the 10pm hour. No large group that includes children should be on higher level floors. Although it’s a great location, rooms and property it may not be worth the headache of inconsiderate people.

We had a nice stay-cation when my husband's brother came out from CT. The only complaint, where's the coffee shop with a bit of food in the morning!! There is coffee and tea in the room! Great location if you are going to Legoland. The properties are adjacent. The pool area and exercise room were outstanding. The location is near old Carlsbad with a lot of food options (go to Pappagallio).

We liked our stay here. Unfortunately we ran into several maintenance issues. TV's didn't work. Shower/ tub valve didn't work, main pool area was closed for most of our stay, secondary pool are hot tub wasn't at all hot, etc. Can't beat the location and the staff was great. Hopefully our experience was the outlier. Can't beat the private entry to Legoland!

Fantastic location just minutes from the beach, and with a private entrance to Legoland! The pools & hot tubs in the Cove were lovely, though could have been a little warmer. Fun to roast s'mores over the fire pits. Rooms were fabulous, and perfect for our group! We had 5 adults and a toddler, and the connected rooms were perfect! The kitchen had what we needed, though it was tight on storage space. Wonderful to have a w/d in the unit, and 2 balconies made quiet space for everyone. My only challenge was having to call so often for more basic supplies (towels, trash liners, dishwasher soap, etc) as so few were left for us.

This is our first time staying at this resort. We are staying in a 2 bedroom lock-off in building 68. This unit does not have a washer and dryer. We have 2 washers and dryers to be shared with others in the building. We are close to the pool area by the Cove and the gym. We are here to visit Legoland and this resort offers a private entrance which makes it convenient for everyone staying at Mar Brisa. They have shuttles to take you to other areas of the resort. They also offer some activities for a small fee. Overall we like the resort and look forward to staying here again in the future.

We stayed here for 4 nights. It was a nice getaway from the cold in Florida (weird winter there). It has been remodeled and they have done a nice job. It is a bit of a drive to most places we visited. The kitchen in our 1 bedroom was well furnished and we made most of our meals while there.
