Hines Mansion

This was the best bed ever. It was extremely comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay. Nicely decorated. They don’t bring breakfast to your room anymore but they do have a food area with lots of choices anytime you want some. The price was amazing Usually you pay double the amount for this type of accommodations. We will stay there again

If you like rustic and historical buildings, it’s worth a try. Walls near our room are thin; could hear neighboring room until late & we couldn’t sleep. Easy walking distance to town. We loved walking to get breakfast at the French bakery nearby. |It has a lot of potential. The owners should pick up fresh pastries & egg croissants from the local bakery, instead of the current low end cheap processed store bought stuff. Fresh coffee with real cream would be better than the kurig for breakfast.

We stayed there for a little getaway. It was so beautiful, clean & just so nice. I just wanted to say how AMAZING Heidi is. She was really great & made us feel at home. We had such a lovely time. I highly recommend. We will be back soon.

The mansion is so pretty! We stayed in the kitty hines room. The room was nice, the decoration could be a little better in my opinion but its really pretty still. The tub was great too. The text sent for check in was super helpful and nice, felt very thougtful. Everything was really good except for my sleeping experience. Going for a one night getaway like this I expected a luxorious sleeping experience. Unfortunately, the beddings were not luxurious feeling, all pillows provided were stuffy and very thick. The bed was not at all comfortable, the mattress felt old, and dented toward the middle, so I just kept rolling toward the middle. I really enjoyed everything else so much, I wanted to love this stay but the bed situation should definetly be improved.

We have stayed at Hines mansion several times now probably four or five!!! We live in the area, but it is a fun getaway and I love their themed rooms And the tub inside each of them!!! Good value for the money, clean rooms and a good experience overall!!! I have recommended to several friends!! Loved when they had their breakfast, but it’s nice. They still have the continental breakfast and some options to have for food while you’re there…. we will keep coming back. Thank you.!!!

Absolutely fabulous weekend spent at Hines Mansion! My husband took me there for a birthday and Valentine's Day getaway together! Loved the historic architecture, furnishings and atmosphere, wonderful jacuzzi tub as well in our room!

We stayed here to celebrate our wedding anniversary. It started out well, but quickly became disappointing. The Library stairs are extremely steep and narrow and feel unsafe. I fell down the stairs, which is unacceptable for a property like this. When my wife tried to take a bath, dirt particles and biofilm came out with the water, raising serious concerns about cleanliness and maintenance. We were also kept awake most of the night by a guest who brought a baby, despite the property clearly stating that children under 12 are not allowed. We submitted detailed feedback through their website, but no one ever followed up or acknowledged our concerns. Because of these issues, we will not be returning.
