Days Inn by Wyndham Bryan College Station

Had to switch rooms 3 times because the first room’s lock and key didn’t work unless you repeatedly try to swipe the card and push the handle up and down multiple times. The door handle was loose as well. It didn’t feel secure at all. The second room’s key/lock didn’t work at all, so we couldn’t get in. We finally got into the third room without any difficulties. However, all of the rooms had a pungent smell right when you walked into them. It smelled like there was mold in the room. Disgusting. Smelled like we’d get chemical poisoning just by breathing in the air. To make things worse, the bed sheets were dirty and had many stains on it. It definitely made me not trust anything they had there. And it gets worse. The coffee machine in our room was broken, so we had to switch it to one from another room, and there were BUGS in the coffee machine!!! We noticed bugs in the coffee and water when it dispensed from the machine, so I opened the top of the coffee machine and there were MORE bugs floating on top! Like do they even clean the items they provide!?! Absolutely disgusting.

Positive: My room was back of the Main Street and very quiet. Maybe because there a cemetery next door - they’re very quiet Negative: Room had a very strong mildew smell that was hard to tolerate. Walls were extremely dirty. Random old broken down playground equipment and discarded furniture by the pool make it feel dumpy.

I hesitate to pile on, but others should know. We booked three rooms for a group attending an event at TAMU. The front desk staff was somewhat courteous and allowed early check-in, but all three rooms had issues. Each had confirmed fleas (we’re DVM students), two smelled strongly of mildew, and one had stained linens. One door had a 1.5" gap at the bottom. Overall, the rooms need deep cleaning and updates. We were refunded without much trouble, though the clerk didn’t believe the flea issue. Location is convenient to TAMU, but we had to scramble to find other lodging and ended up paying about $450 more.

Probably the worst room i have ever stayed in. The bathroom was terrible. I don't think the toilet had been cleaned in weeks. There was something on the floor all over that looked like popcorn. The tv would turn on but not work. The door had to be picked up in order to close and lock it. But the ac worked really good. Next time I will be looking somewhere else

Room was clean and comfortable. Game was going on in College Station so we had to choose this place and it was fine considering we just needed a place to sleep and freshen up. Staff was very kind and place was actually quiet and restful.

This has to be the dirtiest Days Inn I’ve ever seen. We ended our stay early and moved to another location. Room was dirty when we arrived and TV didn’t work. I was told maids didn’t come to work and they were short staffed. I was also told maintenance man wasn’t available to fix TV. Person on staff said management wasn’t available. Chairs and carpet are stained. Nothing looks like the picture on Expedia. Don’t stay here unless you’re desperate or can’t find a hotel. I’ve submitted complaint to management online and Expedia.

The night staff in the office was exceptional. The problem was that we arrived to our assigned room that was not usable. The 3 lamps in the room did not work as well as the tv. There was a shortage of bath and hand towels (only2) and only 1 disposable coffee cup to use. The carpet looked grungy and needed a good shampoo. We reported it and the night staff and he immediately moved us to another room. The second room was great and all was good. Over all, the room was good and the price was right for a one night stay.
