Holiday Inn Express & Suites Wichita Falls by IHG

I have stayed at this hotel location many times on a regular basis. The hotel stall are always very kind, professional, accommodating and respectful and helpful. Beds are always comfortable with great comfortable pillows. Room is always Clean. From entry way to Breakfast area to hallways to rooms..All are clean and comfortable. I live the outside bench that you can sit on and enjoy the quiet setting outside..l8ve reading my book and enjoy watching the ducks on the lake located on the private property near the back of hotel. I always feel safe staying at this hotel. Thank you to Matt, hotel mgr. & Charles and Andrea and the other staff for making my stays so nice.

This is a run down and absolutely disgusting hotel. Keep driving. The entire hotel smelled gross, our room was pungent and infested with mold, the walls and ceiling were falling apart. The grout in the bathroom was black. The elevator reeked of old stains and sweaty workers. We would have left if it wasn’t our third stop and only room we could find for the night. Left after 4 hours of restless sleep.

Stayed here while visiting my aunt who lives in the Assisted Living two doors down. Very comfortable, needs a little spiffing up, but I see that they are doing a rehab even as I write this. Breakfast is very good, and the staff was very helpful and polite. Tip: ask for a room facing little the little lake at back, unless the mallards quacking might bother you.

We’re passing through for one night after a vacation to the Southwest. Even though the hotel was in the middle of a renovation, we had an excellent stay. The hotel staff were friendly and our room was clean and very comfortable. The breakfast area was clean and the food was hot and fresh. An overall excellent stay and would recommend.

Well after reading the reviews we were pleasantly surprised. Yes the hotel is under going a renovation and there was little disruption to our stay . We had a renovated room , very tasteful and spotless. With a view over the lake at the rear , a pleasant outlook. Breakfast was the best we have had on our 5 week travels through the USA , cereal, fully cooked breakfast, toast , fruit and muffins and cinnamon buns. I fine to stay here during the renovation, once it’s completed it will be a gem . A little tricky to find the entrance road when approaching from the west however Apple CarPlay sorted it . Would stay here again , great value .

Nightmare 4 hours Sleep. My kids arrived around 2:00 a.m. on July 28, exhausted and needing rest before continuing our trip early the next morning. Unfortunately, our stay turned into a nightmare. 6 poking metals were on the base of the 2 beds. Not expecting that we woke up at night banging into these and they sank deep into my kids skin leaving marks which are still there today.No one expected that there. We immediately reported the issue to the front desk, who asked us to send pictures. The manager later responded only after we contacted IHG directly and promised a full refund. Months later, as of November 12, we still have not received any refund for the stay or for the medical expenses (even though our insurance helped reduce those costs). All doctors expenses were sent and records with photos as well. After initially responding, the manager stopped replying to emails altogether. To make things worse, the breakfast options were not as advertised—no oatmeal, no pancakes, and overall poor service. We’ve stayed at many Holiday Inns over the years and have never experienced this level of neglect or lack of customer care. After reading other reviews, I realize this manager conveniently ignores his many 1-star and 2-star reviews, unfortunately be advised you'll be paying in full for all our expenses. What a shame.

We called 800 to book room for tonight and the gentleman that answered booked for tomorrow night not tonight. But that was a blessing. Upon arrival, the outside looked bad. Bricks broken, entry way dirty, screens on windows torn. Walking in was only worse. Plastic covering most of lobby area. So dirty everywhere. We were able to cancel room since he booked wrong day. What an embarrassment for IHG. I'm a club member and am shocked by this hotel. I have always had faith in booking Holiday Inns but this makes me leary.
