Comfort Inn Wichita Falls Near University

Sincere, kind, top notch service. I inadvertently left my small day pack in the hotel room. Already 3 hours down the road and trying to beat incoming weather on the way back to Colorado, I receive a call from the hotel manger. My bag was turned in by the hotel cleaning staff. There was no way I could turn back to get it. The manager was so kind to take down my mailing information and ship my bag back to me. I can’t tell you how much I appreciate that. Room was clean, bed very comfortable, and breakfast tasty. Really well done at this Comfort Inn.

While the staff were friendly, the follow-up call that was promised to me never happened. The room where I stayed, room 328 had no working air conditioning/heater. There was power to the cord at the outlet, but the unit would not turn on when the power button was pressed. I relayed this information to the front desk, confirmed my phone number and waited for a follow-up call. Considering I booked 2 rooms for this trip, I was surprised at this lack of caring as a customer.

Positive: The cleanliness was exceptional. The beds were comfortable with nice, fresh linens with plenty of pillows. We had more than enough towels.The location felt safe for us & my vehicle.The hottub and pool were clean as well as the area with additional towels Negative: the pressure of the jets in the hot tub could be better for my likes.

We needed a place to stop and randomly picked this hotel. The rooms are very small. The bathroom was clean and handicapped accessible on the first floor. The towels are decently large. The rooms have a mini fridge and microwave. There is an indoor pool- water is pretty chilly- and a hot tub. We saw a baby cockroach on the night stand. Tried to kill it but it disappeared. That made me struggle to fall asleep. The beds are very hard and you can feel the springs. We could hear people stomping around upstairs above our heads. I wouldn't recommend a stay here.

The manager is very nice. The rooms are ok. The beds are a little hard and the pillows are worn out. I accidentally left my single cup Keurig coffee machine, which I know is on me, but it was not turned in which is very upsetting. I travel here a lot for business and will not return to this hotel.

Only reason I am giving a 6 is because I got in real late and needed some water to take my meds. There is no snack station to buy things if you want something you better bring cash (which who carries anymore) for a vending machine. I didn't have cash so the front desk guy who was very nice directed me to a gallon jug in the gym, but when I went to get it (it was empty). Long story short I didn't get water. Then at Breakfast the Lady who was cleaning actually told us to get up and move so she could wipe the tables. That was at 9am when breakfast don't end until 10. LIKE WHAT!!!!!!!

I found roaches in the bathroom running about freely and was only able to kill 2 of the 5. The pullout sofa did not have any bedding and when I asked the front desk clerk she advised me she would look but doubted they would have anything. She did find us some sheets, but no pillows, told me to use the ones on the main bed. I asked the check-in clerk for my military discount, which I was told would have to be giving when I presented my military ID by reservations, but was not given at check-in. So, I presented my ID again at check-out and was told the manager would have to do that. As yet, no military discount. The pool was not heated as advertised and the hot tub was milky. We enjoyed our stay for the most part. This was a mini vacation for us to relax.
