Super 8 by Wyndham Las Cruces/White Sands Area

We were traveling from out of state to visit for the holidays. Booked this hotel for 4 nights 5 days. My "negatives"(but not deal breakers): 3 floors with no elevator, breakfast was simple(toast cereal yogurt oatmeal coffee and juice), bed were a little too firm for my liking and only had 2 very floppy pillows. My positives: staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. They did have a breakfast available that did remained stocked and there was a mini fridge and microwave in the room(helped cut down on food cost). The location is super close to major shopping; Walmart Dutch bros and the mall. Plenty of parking that was well lit and quiet. Overall it served exactly what I needed for my stay and had no real major complaints, would definitely book again the next trip.

This is my second (and probably last) three night stay this year. ||I’ll start with the pros: rates are cheap. Hotel feels safe. Comfy beds. Thick walls. Decent light breakfast. ||Now, the cons: disinterested staff. Broken or no hair dryers in rooms. I doubt that the carpets in this establishment have EVER been shampooed. I wouldn’t even walk around in my room without socks on. The curtains are old, tattered, and full of holes. Window glass is filthy (and I mean on the inside). Black mildew in showers, on bath mats and shower curtains (I have photos that I will hopefully be able to post below. And, though this isn’t Super 8’s fault: you’re just yards from the very noisy interstate 10. The service road at the entrance seems to be a racing strip of sorts for the locals. Bring earplugs!

Positive: Nothing Negative: This hotel was disgusting. The carpet was covered in stains. The clean linen had been used. The bathtub had mold growing in it.

This place is absolutely disgusting. We booked through Priceline because the price was reasonable, and the pictures looked clean. Not the case. The smell in the building was like musty urine. The carpet throughout the entire room was covered in stains. There were stains along the bottom of the beds. Mold and mildew was in the tub. There was a lipstick stain on one of the clean towels, and what looked like a mascara stain on the clean bed. At one point I asked for extra linen because there were 3 in my party, but only 2 towels, and I was told it would be a while before that could be provided because they were washing linen. Our reservation was for 3 nights, and we checked out after the first to book somewhere else.

If you’re thinking to yourself, "hey I really want to save some money and staying here will be okay for the price", think again. Nothing is worse than the disgusting mess that are their rooms. You’re better off sleeping in your car. As soon as we walked in there was a musty smell. That should’ve been the first sign. The carpet was filthy. Who keeps carpet at a hotel. So disgusting. There was a bottle cap underneath the top cover. That alone lets you know that they don’t clean the rooms right. We stayed here one night and left the second night after finding a huge bed bug. Save yourself the trouble and RUN AWAY as fast as you can from this hell hole. I get that it’s a cheap price but damn, everyone deserves a clean room.

Clean rooms. Accommodated my dogs. The best coffee in any hotel I have ever been in. Best customer service ever! Joe went over the top to to help me with my booking issue because the booking agent messed it up. When the TV in our room didn't work, Joe gladly moved us to another room. I will recommend this location to anyone. Very enjoyable and relaxing. Sadly I was only allowed 5 stars when I would give them at least a 💯.

Room was disgusting and damaged. Manager was rudely speaking about other guest in front of me during Check-In. Did not get the room I reserved. Bed was painful, as if a box spring with a sheet. I had bruises. Due to holidays, no other availability near by. Still haven't received my 'Damage Deposit' back.
