Barry's Chelsea

My only experience with Michael P was years ago during a Sunday Barry's x class before Connor's live run class. After that, it was mostly OnDemand. Finally, I was happy to attend a class in person after my son booked us both for the February 15th class. I might have aggravated my arthritic left knee (maybe the weights were too heavy?), but I feel better now. Very good class. I really liked the exercises. I might have to stick with Ride, however, which is better for my arthritic knee. Or maybe I shouldn't even sprint next time. I'll just modify as needed. Thank you very much!

I visited via ClassPass, I was late but I still very much enjoyed my time there. Kind staff, clean environment, a fully stocked bathroom/Locker room, that was very clean and a Cafe/seating area. I’m looking forward to trying another class there!

I took this video a week ago and decided to wait hopefully they’ll realize there’s mold behind the bottles but after a week still the same. The location easily wins as the nastiest in the city but then they charge almost $600 a month!!

Scott was high energy and offering accommodations & encouragement throughout the whole session! I felt pushed but also clear on ways to keep going if something was feeling hard. Definitely will be back!

Absolutely LOVE this location and had an amazing and challenging class with JOE A. The staff is so wonderful and welcoming. The options in their BARRYS SHOP was amazing. They have a fuel bar and they make the protein shakes just how u like. The place is clean and the air is fresh! One of the best places to workout!

Went in Jan 2025. The place was really cold to wait for our session to start. Staff struggled to figure out reservations, nor explained how this location was different from my home one, despite me asking. They were more preoccupied with their phones and socializing than being helpful. Otherwise, the instructor was good for the ride class and used our Christmas credits, but I doubt we'll go back to this location.

This is the only location in NYC that has RIDE x SPIN classes. This location is relatively spacious and well-kept. There's a red room for RUN x LIFT on the main fl and a red room for RIDE x LIFT downstairs. Tons of lockers - a good amt downstairs and a ton upstairs + inside the Men/Women lockers. The Women locker room is spacious. I love the OUAl products and have gotten some tree samples (OUAl, Kiehl's, etc.) a couple of times at the studio through their partnerships. My go-to instructor is John T. on Saturdays! He has great energy throughout the class + does a great job at instructing both bikes + floor simultaneously. Unlike RIDE x LIFT classes, 25 min is spent at bikes/ floor, then you switch once. The lightest weights for their RIDE x LIFT classes is 8lbs. Staff here is nice and helpful, especially in setting up the new studio bikes. First pair of shoes are free, then it's $3 rental afterwards (cheaper than SoulCycle). They can be used for both bike + floor.
