Big open lawn shaped like a figure eight, perfect for sprawling out with a book or a group of friends. Kids roll down the slopes, dogs bounce around, everyone's just hanging. Trees block out the city noise. Views of the river, boats going by, helicopters overhead. Simple and good.
Very nice part to student and great view towards New Jersey. You have to watch the goose poop though. It’s usually not too crowded warm and sunny days. Great place for a picnic or come and read. There’s some big storm to sit on as well.
It was a dreary day to visit Hudson River Park, but the view was still stunning. The river and skyline have a quiet beauty, even under gray skies.
Train YOUR stuff to follow ALL OF YOUR rules Not just "your dog can’t be here" But also kick out homeless people who sleep there in boxes. Because ACCORDING TO YOUR RULES it’s not allowed as well: Hudson River Park does not allow shelter sleeping. Specifically, the park’s official rules prohibit camping, erecting tents or shelters, tying hammocks to trees, or sleeping in any makeshift shelters—unless you have a permit issued by the Hudson River Park Trust. A very active pier park. The Hudson river park also annually organized the free for all dance festivals with an amazing line up of contemporary artists. The lawns are beautiful to sit on whilst the sunset across the Hudson over New Jersey. A must visit or walk by place.
Beautiful landscaping of the park can be observed even in mid-October. Stonefield sculpture is the park’s prominent feature.
This is a great park to have a wonder round!! Make sure you pop by!!
