Hollywood YMCA

All of the staff I’ve interacted with here are very friendly and eager to help people out. Facilities are very nice, and there’s plenty of equipment available to use without having to wait. Love it here

A fantastic place to work out. Plenty of equipment, clean facilities, friendly (and competent) staff, two full basketball courts, and a pool. It's never crowded, except occasionally on weekends when youth leagues play there. There's not much more you can ask for. You won't find a better membership price in the area, but using their parking garage costs $1. That may not seem like much, but if you go 4/5 times a week, it can start to add up. Highly recommend!

I almost don’t want to leave a review so the secret doesn’t get out 😂 but this is such a great family gym. Everything is new and renovated, the staff are lovely, it’s always very quiet. We’ve also been taking our toddler to swimming lessons here for close to a year now (Linda the swim instructor is very lovely) and our toddler loves it plus the classes are small and not overcrowded. Highly recommend.

I always look forward to coming here when I am traveling my son. The family shower rooms are very accommodating. They are spacious and clean. The water extractor has been inoperable for quite some time. The staff is very welcoming and professional.

Of the five YMCAs I've been to in LA, this is the best, and rivals every "premium" gym out there. It's firstly huge, with four (!) weights areas, not to mention additional space for functional training and cardio. Never crowded for weights and machines. Machines are brand new, and the staff are so friendly, showing me around the establishment and even walking me to the parking lot when I got lost. Lockers are clean with both sauna and steam room facilities. Parking is just $1 for 3 hours with validation at the apt building next door. Plus you get access to nearly all YMCAs in the country, which is perfect for working out while traveling.

Extremely friendly staff. A couple swimming pools and typical gym equipment and life cycles and treadmills. Not very expensive and in walking distance from where I live which is important to me. But really nice staff. Really really really nice.

The people here were fantastic. The Y is a community and at this place I was quickly made to feel at home! From the guys in the parking lot to the other people working out everyone was friendly and helpful. Tonia at the front desk deserves a raise! And I love it that the $$ I spend go to helping out kids and community programs! How much better can it get? By staying healthy I am doing good deeds for other people by supporting one of the largest philanthropic organizations in the US. BTW I like the facilities too. Clean and plentiful equipment and space. I loved the courtyard! I would give more stars if I could!
