Richard Alatorre Park

Isn’t dangerous. Some people chillin random here. Would not say it’s a park for hanging around.

The loop trail is a little more then a mile but there are a few steep hills and lots of foliage for shade. The path narrows at different points so I don't recommend bringing small children. Overall a lovely little gem hidden in the city. You can see DTLA on a clear day.

Its a nice hike if you follow the trail all the way thru..

Well it didn't seem like the pictures. I imagined for a place to go hiking along eagle rock would be nice but the hiking trail isn't as wonderful as it may seem. Only the top has a nice view of the area but other than that, the trails are really small, able to fit one person walking at a time. Overall compared to the many hiking trails I've been to, this one wasn't as I expect. Lots of private property area as well so many of the path is restricted.

Not well kept. Lots of broken glass, graffiti. Exactly what you would expect from an LA City park.

Yo I went to the city dump here and coming down the hill from the city dump you have an awesome view of that Eagle Rock and then there's some kind of nature trail that I have not yet gone to but I seen some folks walking up there the actual trail I've never been not sure if I will but it was very interesting there's like a food truck there posted up giving food you know what I'm saying so there's some people there you know looks safe
