We walked on the public trail through this RV resort with our 15 month old. What a beautiful view! Loved it and had a nice afternoon. The only downside to this path is where the trailer homes used to be has not been updated and it's dangerous for kids -metal sticking out of the ground, bricks, holes, pokers, etc. just an fyi for anyone thinking of walking a couple miles on this trail! There are signs everywhere, but it's a shame all those people got kicked out of their homes for the land to just sit there ugly and un-landscaped at the very least!

Such a cool place. I preferred the north part because it had more space. The grounds were all really well cared for. The pool was awesome and I almost always had it to myself. I'll probably stay here annually to visit family. Thanks you Mission Bay RV!

We had a bay view spot, and it was beautiful and quiet. Cons: The road to get into the park is lined with RVs(people live in these RVs), so it gets very narrow. The pool area is outside the gate where the public parking is. Pros: This resort offers peace and quiet, but if you want to party you can go next store to Campland. Mission Bay RV resort allows you to use all Camplands amenities.

Had a great stay here this last weekend (mid February). The staff were great. Security was always present and roaming around. The entire area was clean and well kept. Other people staying were friendly and no one got out of hand. Are there a few homeless RVs and trailers in the area? Yep. But not too many. About what you see around any neighborhood nowadays. Did not affect my stay at all and was of no concern. To get in, you have to roll right by the security building. Will gladly stay here again.

This is our third time staying here. It’s clean and quiet. Living by the bay with views and sunsets is fabulous.

We loved how the RV Park was so close to everything ! We usually stay further north and were glad to enjoy this area and not have to drive so much. We went to Coronado, Point Loma, Balboa Park, La Jolla Sea Lions, Pacific Beach, Liberty Station, Sea World (half price), Safari Wildlife Park (free to 65+ in February). We were there with friends and had a site along the bay. We didn’t love looking at the chain link fence but understand the need. When we arrived we were told to buy alarms for our bikes. We did that and had them delivered to the front office. We didn’t see any sketchy people walking around though. The view when you walk in the path in the old trailer park area is fantastic. It looks like they are working on making it nicer. Too bad that isn’t where the RVs sites are. Those sites are amazing! I’m sure the trailers were an eyesore and needed to go. Campland is the sister property and connected with a trail. It’s got beachfront access. It’s not quite as clean but has lots of amenities like a market, gym and place to eat. And a guard at a gate that they open and close. Probably less security issues there. But we liked this park. Our site was paved and very large. We had the fire zone between us and our friends so that gave us a huge area to hangout.

A huge RV park consisting of 2 totally different areas. A paved and a dirt area. We stayed in the paved area. Power, water and sewage worked well without problems. There is an antenna connection, but just 4 channels worked. Quite level sites with picnic table and local trash cans. Large and clean bathrooms and showers. You constantly saw employees working to keep everything clean and tidy. Very quite at night. Little beach just across the street. Pool and clubhouse also across the street,
