Arlington Lions Club Park has a rating of 4.5 out of 5 based on over 104 reviews on Google
My only reasoning for less than 4 or 5 stars is more regarding the vegetation upkeep. There was some water retention around the concrete and paths but realistcially its on the water and it rains here quite a bit that is to be expected. It had clearly been picked up and put into large piles when I visited but it seemed to have been a while ago and not removed from the spots. However everything is clean trash wise, didnt see much if any. The atmosphere was new but grew on me as a walked down the little pier/trails over the water. Small crabs were all over the beach which is definitely a plus in my book. Fishing seemed to be common, however the water is definitely a no swim which is not on the park. Ample parking and areas for boat trailers however I wasnt sure if I saw a boat drop off when I explored. You could definitely take a canoe out and there are areas to launch off of as well. Benches around some paths, plenty of walking and exploring to do. Its very pretty nature. Overall fairly positive review but the vegetation management definitely needs improving for such a unique area. Its a bit harder to enjoy the place with that sort of thing.
Nice for fishing, bringing dogs, cookouts, and a small walk on the boardwalk. I wish the boardwalk was longer. I did not walk the scenic trail. 3 stars because it is not much of a walking trail (boardwalk). Bathroom was clean and had a water fountain (a plus).
This park and blue cypress are finally back to being a place with a safe Boardwalk. Major improvements have been made but you can still tell there's some work to be done.
This park has beautiful trails. There are views of the St John's River and if you are a boater you can launch your boat there.
Date: Spring 2021 Note: review is based more on the trails Fun little trail to hike or bike on. The boardwalk is one of my favorites, especially sunrise/sunset.
This use to my favorite retreat. Since Matthew and Irma it is a mess and poorly maintained and the board walk is has been closed for months!! Transformers have been on the ground since Irma. I called the City 4 times and still these things are on the ground and pose a safety hazard for kids!!!
If you enjoy the river, nature trails & secluded spaces then this is the place to be.
