Unfortunately my husband and I were denied staying here. They have a policy in place that doesn’t allow any level of pit bull mix whatsoever! We have two dogs and one has some mixed. We offered to share his completed training certificates as proof that our dog is well behaved. They stopped us and informed us they wanted no parts of it. They said this is our policy and sent us on our way. End of discussion. I sat with this for some time and decided this is not ok. They preferred to discriminate solely based on the breed. It shows the true values or should I say the lack of values this resort has. I wanted to take a moment to warn others of their policies and behavior.
Sites are super small and your neighbors on each side of you are close. Paved sites but, expect broken concrete. No grass, sites lined with gravel that is sparse and weed filled . They advertise pull through sites, but sites are not long enough to park a car behind a 40’ motorhome. Tons of rules, you get a booklet before checking in and have to sign and initial 4 pages at check in. Park is obsessed with signs telling you what not to do . Looks beautiful driving in, but the rest of the park is well worn and old. Left early on our reservation as we felt we were camped in a concrete parking lot! Best to skip this one if your looking forward to an upscale park.
We love staying here! Beautiful resort with nice pull through and back in sights. Clean bathroom/ showers and convenient laundry for a reasonable price. However the heated pool was closed for maintenance with no resolution in sight. Extremely disappointing.
Love this RV park, however the his last visit has left me wanting when it comes to helpfulness and caretaking from staff. First issue was that our phones and TV weren’t connecting to the wifi, they said someone would look into it the next day. Called back after lunch the next day because it still wasn’t working, and then was told the wifi isn’t guaranteed here, even though they advertise as having wifi? So not impressed with that. The second issue was that I saw the big pool was shut down for maintenance but couldn’t see if the hot tub was open, so called the front desk to ask if it was open and the lady said "I think so". I would have loved if she put me on hold and then confirmed with maintenance whether it was open or not so I didn’t waste my time getting my swim stuff on and walking all the way over to find out it was shut down. Other than these 2 instances, everything has been great here.
We have stayed at the Oasis RV Resort several times and this latest trip was by far the best! Maybe they read the negative reviews and made changes, but I have seen the front staff be rude, a bartender not cracking a smile and being stand offish, a server who was just plain rude to everyone, and sites that were run down with long-term renters. Everyone was pleasant this time, the food is better, and the place has been cleaned up. The pool was very nice and clean, but the spa is down for repairs. The bartenders I spoke to were very nice and they were open more hours than before. Nice place. We can't wait to go back.
Approved for weekly stays but denied a 30-day stay after an automated third-party screening with zero transparency about what standard was allegedly not met. I have no criminal history and a long record of paying my obligations. It’s extremely disappointing to be treated like a liability without any meaningful explanation. If you are considering staying here long-term, understand that approval for short stays does not mean you will be allowed to remain for 30 days. Ask detailed questions before committing your time or travel plans.
The gounds were beautiful and clean. The guests were so friendly and warm. I'm giving this a four rating because it was a very pleasant stay but there's many things that could make this place way better! A little turned off at check in that they gave a couple a 30% "Cananda" discount right in front of us! The hot tub just splashed water in your face as the jets splurted up and had no water pressure. They have a pickleball court but you have to rent paddles/balls.Seriously couldn't that just be included? No dessert at cafe (only ice cream). It cost us 50-60 per day round trip in Uber to go to the strip. A shuttle would be ideal! Would have stayed at Circus Circus because it's walkable to the strip but they were closed. The biggest drawback for us was the expense of having to take uber. Depends on what's important to you for us, walkable is number one. But for a lovely resort with atmosphere, this is it!
