This has been my church for about 20 years now I’ve seen pastors come and go, but our pastor Drew, who is the current pastor, has such a unique way of touching all of us. I encourage you to go. They have a Womens Bible Study. They have a men’s Bible study they have daycare for children, while you’re attending service. They have a hiking group and many others. This is the best church in Las Vegas aside from Central Christian Church its Sister Property. I do encourage you to come and check it out yourself. God Bless
I visited from out of town with my family today. The kids program was very disappointing. It’s in an old building with several tiny rooms. The doors were all open, but there were no cameras. There were 2 teenage boys that were volunteering in each of my children’s classrooms. At our home church there are men and women volunteering in the kids classes and teenagers including boys, but this was different. I got a bad feeling about leaving my children there. I am not comfortable leaving my kids with people that are acting weird/rude/standoffish. It didn’t feel like the type of people who should be taking care of kids. 2 boys and 1 girl specifically stood out to me as people I wouldn’t never trust alone with my kids. Everyone else I spoke to seemed nice. The man and woman on staff who escorted us to the family room seemed confused as to why we weren’t leaving our kids there. It’s just embarrassing that a church would allow just anyone to volunteer. Especially with the children. We ended up going to the family room and then just leaving shortly after. It’s unfortunate such a large church gives so little attention to the safety of the children.
I went to this church over 25 years ago when I was living in Las Vegas. I had my daughter Emily Thompson baptized there too . The congregation was always super nice and helpful. They really knew how to worship Jesus too . Thanks again for the awesome memories there . I have a complete new life that is better than I ever thought possible thanks to my belief in GOD. I live in Flagstaff now so if Rick and I ever come to Las Vegas we will visit your amazing church . Have a blessed day 😇

Hey friends how are you doing? I just want to say that I have traveled all across this great country of ours visiting all sorts of churches along my path but this church, Canyon Ridge, well it has a beautiful energy that IS FULL of the Holy Spirit and also offers a great music vibe unmatched anywhere in the USA, I promise! Come see for yourself and be sure to bring everyone kids and babies too! Childcare is FREE!!!
Excellent worship center with volunteers eager to assist us with our wheelchair access requirements. A young man provided us with a movable chair that I could use to sit next to my wife. Plenty of parking, handicap parking, a small area to get coffee, clean restrooms, and an amazing area to worship Christ. The lesson/sermon and the references are displayed onto the big screens. On the back of every few chairs is a bar code that I believe will take you straight to the notes of the service. We enjoyed their praise and worship team and the pastor's message and will be attending service here again
I’ve been about 5 times and probably about half of the times the whole sermon was about donating. I get that donations are part of an organization and everything needs $$ to thrive and grow and provide services but it was exhausting. I’d rather a place spend 5 minutes max at beginning of every sermon than spend an entire hr and half once a month pounding it into our brains. If people are going to donate they’re going to donate regardless. The pastor goes on and on like pounding it into our brains for an hr and half and even my teenager was like omg he just keeps saying the same things. And he says "I’m just gonna take one minute" and then proceeds to spend 20 minutes repeating himself repeating himself the same thing, about giving money, we get it. To make donating an entire sermon is in bad taste in my opinion. And people were just trickling trickling up and out of their seats. I’ve been to other churches where someone will speak about tithe or financial generosity for a 5-10 minute talk but never an entire sermon. It left a bad taste in my mouth each time and I think the organization needs to re think how they can better get that message across especially right now in the world.
