Went here years ago, it was wonderful to see Americas latest and greatest ships!

I enjoyed my visit, though very short I have no complaints.

This place was amazing when I was a kid. Now it's just pirates.

I let my kids go with friend to the bowling alley. The family of the friends paid for bowling. My kids didn't want pizza which was served. I and also wanted to play pool. My kids don't have bank cards and I'm not giving mine. Imagine my surprise when my kids couldn't order any food or play pool like the ones with parents there. All because the base has taken away independence by not taking cash as payment. This is ridiculous.

My father was a navy sailor in 1966. He met my mother at a dance. Today is my 58th birthday. My parents are no longer with us. Miss them so much!

A highly revered place with amazing military personnel.

This base needs to do something about there not being enough parking for the sailors who work here. I find it’s always an issue finding a parking spot when I get to work and it’s not like you can just park anywhere because your car will get towed. (I say this because my car has been towed before) I will say I know people who are E1-E4 who cannot find parking when all the ships are in and have to risk parking anywhere to come back and find that their cars are gone and a lot of times they do not make enough money to pay the hefty 300+ dollars to get their car out of the towing yard. If this base knows they have an issue with there not being enough parking they should not be bringing towing companies on base to tow peoples cars. For an officer or a E5 and above they can afford it but for a E1-E4 that’s more than a quarter of one of their paychecks. They definitely need to fix this issue because in the last couple weeks alone there have been multiple sailors at my command complaining about not being able to find parking then their cars getting towed because of where they had to park. If this base wants to actually help sailors they need to stop calling these towing companies to base to tow their sailors cars.
