We were having work done at our house and needed a place to stay. This offered such wonderful, easy accommodations. The cabin was so cute and extremely clean. It offered everything we needed with full kitchen, great fireplace, and the bed was very comfortable! The campground is beautiful with so many options for entertainment. It’s great for a vacation or even a "stay-cation" if you live in the Shreveport Bossier area.

Crammed in like sardines. Awful septic smell everywhere. Bath house is a 1/2 mile walk. All 3 chairs at our site were broken. Trash filled in fire pit. Grill located above neighbors septic hook up. Nice view but unable to enjoy due to the smell.

The resort staff was more than accommodating in assisting us with reservations and directions. We made last minute reservations and our GPS mis-routed us through downtown Shreveport. The resort staff was very responsive and patient while assisting us. THANK YOU so much! Our only regret was that we were not staying longer.

My sister and I traveled from Tomball to God’s Country Resort for a family wedding that was 5-10 mins away at The Barn at Coyote Creek. We spent 2 nights. Check in was easy and Trish was super nice and explained how to find our cabin perfectly. When we pulled up it was a very pleasant surprise to find we had a hot tub on the front porch. (I wouldn’t have minded a privacy screen) it was very simple to get in the cabin. Once we walked in it was simply perfect. We were impressed with the whole cabin, from the cleanliness to how nice everything was. It has pretty much anything you need. The Keurig was a nice surprise, along with the coffee and sugar and creamer. The quality of the bed, linens and towels was wonderful. The views are great also! We would definitely stay here again.

We spent 3 nights over the Christmas holidays at God’s Country Resort in the Wilderness cabin. What a wonderful place! Our family of 4 slept very comfortably in the cabin. It was so quaint & cozy. The beds & pillows were very comfortable. It’s so dark, quiet and peaceful. We will definitely stay here again. Great experience.

We traveled to God’s Country Resort over Thanksgiving weekend so my husband could hunt, and what we expected to be a simple getaway turned into something far more memorable thanks to the staff here. We arrived on Thanksgiving Day, after the office had already closed early, and immediately ran into unexpected RV issues. Gloria, the manager, was an absolute lifesaver. Despite it being a holiday, she went out of her way to help us, and another team member jumped in as well. They spent time troubleshooting with us and making sure we had a comfortable place to stay for the weekend. The cabin we stayed in was spotless, cozy, and incredibly comfortable. The entire property feels well cared for — clean, organized, and clearly maintained with pride. Even though we didn’t explore the whole resort, it’s obvious they value their environment and the experience they provide. What could have been a stressful, ruined weekend became a relaxing and enjoyable trip because of Gloria and the team’s kindness and hospitality. We’re truly grateful, and we highly recommend God’s Country Resort.

Resort has incredible views. management was very accommodating, and in fact went out of there way to locate a very expensive piece of jewelry we had lost but not noticed until we had left the resort. Very friendly staff. bathrooms and showers are clean and spacious.
