Rio Baranca Valle Group Campground

"Valle" review: So there are 2 main pavilions at the "Valle" group site. There are lights that you can turn on that stay on all night if you'd like. We found 4 power outlets attached to the pavilions. 2 outdoor sinks with prep areas. One large fire ring, one grill with a hand crank that lowers or raises the base for cooking. Lots of picnic tables under the shade, and bathrooms with coin operated showers for our group use only. Nice big site, it was a little difficult to figure out where we were supposed to put tents as there was no signage. Lots of bees but no one was stung. A bear did come into our camp multiple times at night, but it ran off when yelled at. Be bear aware! We'll use this again, it was very nice!

Great place to camp, there are toilets, electricity and showers that you can use for quarters at a time which makes camping bearable in my opinion. But it was perfect for a weekend getaway.

Loved it, first time there, hills were green, the creek behind the campground was full of water. Many colors of flowers, with rocks made beautiful scenery.

The location is a bit far from the Lake. There is no grass, just bare ground and that makes a lots of dust at any wind. The facilities for BBQ and food prepare are good. The bathrooms are good.

Beautiful nature. Very well maintained area by the Rangers everyone was very helpful and friendly. Lake wasnt too bad .... would definitely recommend it for a little family get away/trip!👍

These are the group campgrounds for Silverwood Lake Park. They are very nice and isolated from the rest of the park. This means you have to drive about 3 miles to the lake.

This newly remodeled campsite is great. Definitely will be returning ☺️ and the fishing was nice too!
