REST | Real Escape from the Sex Trade

I am a rest Client and I have been a client recently in a few months but was a client a long time ago when they first started the program has seems to always never know what’s going on new case managers never knowing what’s going on people not responding back to your calls I really feel like they do not take your life seriously on what’s going on I’m in domestic violence. My advocate doesn’t call me. She doesn’t reach out. It took me about a month just to communicate with her. I don’t really think that the case managers know what they are doing. I just think that they are hiring people. I am also in domestic violence and I have been out of the sex. Lives for almost 4 years now and we have places like this what gives you no hope of returning back where is the money going that they are supposed to help clients with? Where is the support? Where is the community that they say that we have for sex traffic victims? where is it? It’s not here. Praying for the community. Anybody that read this. Stay strong. We will get out someday.

I went through two case managers who had no idea what they were doing and offered no services.One quit 4 days after they gave her my case. I had appointments canceled last minute when I bus from over two hours away. I would not recommend this organization to anyone as there is constant confusion and disorganization. Also, they are not accommodating or supportive of people with disabilities or difficulties they do not understand. I was talked at by two white women like a child which is completely uncalled for. 0 stars if I could. With that said the only person who I had any positive experience with was Tionna

Rest put multiple women’s lives at risk and has neglected to follow up or be transparent. I fear women in unfortunate circumstances are being taken advantage of. I genuinely worry about the ethics of the program and upper management exploitation.

They are liars. I promise you, unless you are out the game; they will not help you regardless of what they initially say. Dealt with them over a year. Still trafficked and homeless. They should be outta biz.

I had a loving and caring people their in my life at the right time. This organization helped me thrive and become a more empowered women!!!

Love what this place stands for and everything.I know some of the people that work here and a good friend with a board member.

This place is a scam! They use money that is donated on their personal needs & lifestyle! I’ve been in this program since January & have been refused help plenty of times! Stay away
