Chris is running the helm at Contact Photo Lab. Some of the coolest people that I met here at this studio, amazing space to make all your dream photo projects come to life. Contact is the only place I know of in LA where you can get Museum quality prints for your personal and passion projects whether you are a professional and or amateur!

Terrible experience. They did not have my prints ready (they were not packed for pick-up), they had forgotten about my appointment, and they rolled the prints when I asked for them to be packed flat. When I pointed out these issues, the manager belligerent and said, "You haven't paid for them." That was correct, as they had not bothered to send an invoice. Even though I was willing to pay on the spot, the manager told me to leave and not come back. I used Contact in the past with no problems, when it was under different management. This manager is awful. I won't be back.

The prints that i’ve have done at Contact surpass my experience at other photo labs. I really appreciate their attention to detail, quality and customer service. Chris, the head printer, really knows what he’s doing. Love these guys!

Please someone help me get a hold of the owner. They have dropped off the face of the planet along with my priceless negatives. Forget that I paid for the service, I just want my negatives back.

Printing, dark rooms, and scanner rental services. They have a flextight Imacon scanner for rent at $45 an hour, which is relatively reasonable. It's also next door to a bar / restaurant, so you can get some food and a drink after you're done.

They may be the only public dark room around but the staff truly is helpful at getting you what you need, and even offering considered advice if you ask for it. For all that goes into maintaining a dark room, they do well.
