My favorite place. I’ve been shooting film since 2015 and I’ve been loyal to a place in California since i was living there until i found this place! They’re less than a 10 minute walk from me, 3 day turnaround time EVERYTIME even during the chaotic holidays. small shop but they have a good selection of film and more, their prices are amazing. wonderful staff. I recommend this place to everyone.

The staff was kind and helpful. The results were on time and amazing!😭 They had a system to share the results! Update: I came back to Exposure Therapy again! And I just discovered that they sell films at a much cheaper price. I was so shocked that there was a 20% difference from another place I’ve been to. And they put all of the films and other stuff outside the counter area, so it’s accessible and transparent because they also put a price tag on the rack. The staff was also really, really kind and helpful. He said I could ask anything, so I asked many questions. He also let me take my time choosing which film to buy. Now that I think about it, the price of developing and scanning films is also way lower than in nearby places. In general, I could see that the business and store are well-organized. I’ll definitely recommend them to my friends!!

Can‘t recommend this place enough!! First off, amazing film results and such quick turnaround time! everybody working there is genuinely so nice and goes above and beyond with any questions. After loosing my camera (which was kindly handed over to exposure therapy by the bar) they did the most amazing detective work and tracked me down to return it, when i thought all hope was gone, just goes to show they’re such great people and actually care. So for anybody in new york or coming to the city pay them a visit!!

I can’t speak highly enough of this team! They are super knowledgable, professional, and just… not douchey at all… which if you’ve been to enough film labs you’ll know that’s rare!!! I purchased my first manual camera from them in 2023 and they have since helped me learn how to use it and developed countless rolls in addition to answering any and all of my pestering questions. Really a gem of a place and a gem of a team 🙂

Been meaning to write a review for a while. Cannot recommend these guys more. I’m from DC and I used to send my rolls to a certain popular lab down south (iykyk). They had a great product, but with terribly long wait times and wetransfer links with short expiration dates. Thankfully I came across Exposure Therapy a few years ago cause a friend lived around the corner. Have been using them since. Superb developing and scanning with fantastic turnaround times. They really stick to that 3 day window. One time I got an email at 2am on the fourth day saying they couldn’t finish in time and all I could think was "really appreciate it, but please go to bed, my trash underexposed rolls are not worth it." Plus, I used to wait up to a month when told 2 weeks at the other lab. Also, they have a client portal that just makes sense and rewards repeat customers. Easy payment for invoices, easy downloading without expiration dates, and easy instructions for mailing in. Anyway, if you’re in NY or anywhere else - this the place.

I get all my photos developed and scanned here. Why? Because they are good and they care about film. They even sell 16mm film. The scent of the chemicals is incredibly addictive lol, no truly, this place is really professional and I love the staff. Also, I got my passport picture taken and I look so handsome. The price is absolutely worth it. This place is pure quality.

Top notch photo lab to get your film developed In Brooklyn. They have been developing my 35mm film for several years now and they do a steller job. Professional, punctual, and welcoming staff. Highly recommend for film and digital photographers.
