The Dark Slide

Really cool people. I had a simple question and I was totally hooked up within seconds! Rad skate shop and the staff I spoke to (didn’t catch their names) were kind and I could tell they were skate punks like me! I’m almost 50 and still going on the vert. Thanks guys. Looking forward to my delivery of stickers for the local outdoor skatepark. Hats off to y’all from Hammond Indiana!!!!

I was looking for a hard to find album, more specifically one i could afford without having to tale out a second mortgage. I came across The Dark Slide website and they had what I was looking for. I didn't hesitate, i pulled out my card and bought it. the customer service was Top Notch. shipping was fast, it was packaged in a heavy duty cardboard box. it showed up on time and damage free. I cant recommend The Dark Slide enough. give them a shot if you are looking for that hard to find album or some new parts for skateboards. I can't wait to look at the rest of their selection and pick up some more vinyl

I’ve been bringing my 6-year-old son into Dark Slide Skate Shop at Merle Hay Mall for years, and they’ve always welcomed him with open arms—same for me. The staff is genuinely kind, patient, and makes kids feel like they belong in skateboarding. They even went out of their way to special-order something for me. Huge shoutout to Frankie—she’s a killer at what she does and such a supportive mom, too. Highly recommend.

Amazing shop - tons of sick old school set ups, all of the newest of the new goodies, tons of cool gear ( they even had lots of XXL, wich is very hard to find ). The Dude working there was very nice and put up with my stupid questions, then took me in the back and showed me all the new decks that just showed up. Great experience, very excited to shop at there online store. I will definitely stop back by next time I pass threw town.

Very good customer service and family friendly. Took my 2 year old son in and showed us around. Took time outta his day while they was slow, and gave us great advice on boards and hardware. 10/10 service
