I went in to Sutherlands to have photos printed off my husband for how Celebration of Life. It was a heavy task for me but they were so kind. Conner walked me through everything and the positive attitude of the staff kept things light. I walked in feeling terrible and walked out feeling a little better. Thank you, Sutherland's.

One clueless GenZ blonde walks in to Sutherland's wanting "a film camera" and walks out with a Pentax K1000 and four rolls of film. I came armed with zero knowledge other than I enjoy taking photos on disposables with my friend while we go backpacking, but got frustrated that the cameras were finicky. The team at Sutherland's was so friendly, out-of-this-world knowledgeable, and patiently and eagerly answered any and all questions I fielded without being patronizing or giving off any air of annoyance. After considering several camera options and learning the basics of how they worked, I settled on the Pentax K1000, and then was given a crash course in how each button, switch, and dial worked, as well as the original manual and camera strap. Cool! We had some friendly conversations at the end, as my husband and I were visiting from Washington State. A wonderful experience all around and great first stop on our visit to Huntsville!

I take film rolls up there pretty frequently and they are always very pleasant, and get them back to me within 24-48 typically. Great shop and staff.

Really cool local photography shop that has a lot of vintage gear! I bought a refurbished Olympus OM-1here that's been a joy to use! I've also gotten several rolls of 35mm/120 film developed here. The developing/scanning turnaround is quick and the results are great! Overall this is my current one stop shop for film photography needs in Huntsville, it's been a blessing doing business with these guys!

I have been a long-time customer of the store, they have all kinds of cameras (film and digital) and lenses. They have an amazing collection of lenses, and cameras. They also offer film development services which I found better and faster than other places. Definitely recommend.

Very cool place w nice staff. They have alot of used film cameras and some digital ones and they also do passport photos
