I wish I would have done a shoot sooner at Ritual Intimates! Maddie is the sweetest most welcoming human and an amazingly talented artist! She is able to establish a connection with you as a person and bring your ideas to life, but even better! She has such soothing and calming energy she photographs you. Also, her physical studio in Akron has such a peaceful sacred vibe. When you walk in to start hair and makeup, the physical space itself really helps set the tone for a calm, low pressure but empowering experience. I loved how intentional Maddie was with everything behind the whole creative process with planning out the outfits, sets, and guiding me through the poses. After just seeing my previews this week, it felt great to feel seen and to be able to express myself in a creative way in an environment that I wouldn’t normally have the opportunity to do so. If you’re thinking about boudoir, portraits, branding, engagement, or a maternity shoot that is shot from the female gaze and has a dreamy or ethereal theme, I would definitely recommend Maddie!

Maddie is so sweet and makes you feel so comfortable. I was nervous for this shoot but the moment I stepped into her studio and we started talking, all my nerves were gone. Maddie was an angel to work with. From the moment I stepped into her space, I felt so welcome and at ease. She made me feel amazing & otherworldly & we just had so much FUN!! Honestly, if you’re wanting photos done, look no further. I have had two session with Maddie, and each time it was the most wonderful experience! She is the sweetest, kindest human being I’ve ever met! She makes sure that you are comfortable, happy, and safe the entire session! Not to mention, she works with some of the best MUA!

I had a session with Maddie about 2 years ago and just realized I never left a review! Maddie was extremely nice and encouraging throughout the whole process. She was very focused on making sure I was comfortable with what we were doing, always had amazing communication, and was fantastic at guiding me into poses during the shoot. Her studio was super cute and very spacious. I loved all the different packages she offered as well and the pictures/metal prints turned out absolutely beautiful. She really is truly talented and I will definitely be going back to her in the future. Absolutely recommend!
