I had my first photo shoot with Emily, and I had an absolutely blast! Emily was so friendly, welcoming, and professional. She had great ideas for poses when I wasn’t really sure what I wanted. She went above and beyond with her work. We picked the photographs together, and I appreciated her guidance and professional opinion on the photos. Then! She delivered the final product way sooner than I could have imagined!! Although it sounded like fun, I was a little apprehensive about going into the photo shoot. All went so smoothly, from my hair appointment to make up and then the shoot. Emily and her staff made it an easy process and I ended up feeling so comfortable, relaxed, and free with the poses. The end result photos were wonderful! I had a delightful experience being photographed by Emily for dating profile photos! Previous dates had commented that my photos "didn’t do me justice"—I wondered is that just a line? But I felt there was truth in their statements and wanted to be in the capable hands of an expert. Emily is that person. I was well-prepared for the session thanks to an introductory zoom call with her and an extremely helpful preparatory guide she had shared. I have always found getting my photos taken stressful, and dating photos are extra daunting and vulnerable. This however was a relaxing, hope-inspiring, enjoyable experience. Feeling at-ease and confident is an essential ingredient for good photos and Emily has a way of making the experience calm and inviting. She brought out my best and so did her makeup artist colleague. I am very pleased with the results and the confidence boost!
