The Beach at Smith River

I visited here on a nice summer early evening with my family including my 6 year old son. The beach is just gorgeous with waves breaking and beautiful scenery all around. The sand is filled with beautiful stones but overall not a bad sand to walk on when closer to the water. We were there almost til sunset but this would be a beautiful place to watch the sunset.

My favorite beach. Driftwood " cabins" are fun to explore. Only downside is no restrooms. Wheelchair access till you get to the sand.

Beautiful beach, easy to walk to. Good parking. The northern coast always seems to be windy and cold. Grandkids loved playing in the sand and running from the waves. They also loved playing around and adding to the small teepee/hut that was already there.

Beautiful site!!!!!! So glad we stopped so interesting.

Great spot just mind pets and children when tides are due back in.

I'm not going to say it's great because everyone's gonna go. The day I was there stellar weather. Open beach strand several miles only one other person
