Stacy's at Melrose

📍 Gay bars in Phoenix

7.6

Stacy's is a well-known queer space in Phoenix, offering a welcoming atmosphere where patrons can express themselves freely. The staff is commended for their prompt service, and the outdoor patio provides a refreshing space to socialize. The venue hosts shows, including the notable "Starstruck" experience, and offers a cozy dance floor with a good selection of music.

The crowd can be diverse, but the music often leans towards Euro rave styles. DJs may not always cater to the crowd's preferences. While the drinks and bar service are decent, parking and seating can be challenging. The back patio allows smoking, and there's a local food setup by the entrance. Security checks bags for safety. Overall, Stacy's can be an enjoyable experience with a sense of community, especially when local food vendors are present.

Stacys is my favorite queer space in phoenix, where I feel free to be myself unapologetically. The staff are great, service is prompt. The shows .. starstuck is an experience you require. The dancing is cozy, but what good music they play. The out door patio is great to get air and chat. There is rarely a line for the bathroom. Come for fun, come for community.

This is a gay club catering to mostly Caucasian male patrons. The crowd can be diverse however not the music. The variety of music tends to copy that of a Eutro rave. True DJs know how to read the room and accommodate. The DJs tend to play what they want to hear verses what would make the crowd hype up. The bathrooms tend to have a very unidentifiable smell and some of the customers don't know how to keep their hands to themselves so please go with friends. The drinks tend to be good and bar service is decent. Parking and seating is the biggest challenge. Be mindful of the back patio as they do allow smoking and it is thick! There's a taco setup by the front entrance and security checks your bags before entering. It can bee fun if the night is right but that is a rarity. The pandemic and flux of folks moving here has changed the whole layout of the place. If you decide to go see how you feel and gather your experience. Party safely!

My favorite local gay bar, my friends and I come here all the time. Great patio vibes. We also love when they have local food vendors and trucks in--I've had some of the betsy quesadillas and fry bread of my life at Stacy's from their outside vendors! Service ranges from excellent and friendly to just so-so, but that's pretty typical with easy-going bars like this and not a deterrent for us.

Had an overall bad time at Stacy's on New Years. My party paid $200 to reserve a table advertised to come with a complimentary champagne bottle, and not only did we not receive the champagne, the bouncer barred us from entry after a quick trip to a car. The bar was crowded beyond belief and the drinks were overpriced, but I am most disappointed about the service.

Love this place!!! The show manager, Mia Inez Adams, is a great show hostess! Her special style of comedy adds to the nightly experience of fun and laughter. The new owners are getting their sea legs and holding true to the legacy the original owner Stacy left behind. VISIT!!!! YOU'RE GONNA LOVE IT!

This place used to feel like home. Now it feels like the priority is to meet quotas instead of fostering community. If you leave an honest review the owner's don't like they'll ask people to artificially inflate their numbers. The only redeeming qualities here are the bartenders and DJs.

It's almost thrilling when you can find a place nearby where you can be unapologetically yourself and not have to feel judgment or feelings of being excluded. Everyone is welcome, and that provides such a great vibe and flow. I live just down the street and walk down here all the time, whenever I need to be a little more "me". Stacy's on Melrose is THE PLACE
