We visited the place on a RuPaul friday nigth, so it was full. There were many kinds of gay tribes and ages, so it's an inclusive and very secure place for everybody. The music was good, and the bartender in the second floor really put a smile in our face with his joyfull actitud. Last Friday, January 9th, at around 1:00 AM, I experienced the highlight of the night at the coat check. I saw the 3 most handsome and tallest men there: the guy working the counter, his tall friend dressed in red, and another friend in white wearing glasses. Even though I’m over 6'4" myself, they were actually taller than me. Seeing the three of them together in that area was easily the best moment of the evening.

Everytime I’ve come to the Alley has been great. Friendly staff, reasonably priced and generously poured drinks, and the food is great. Awesome events too! Bouncer even checked on my friend who had a little too much to drink and brought them a water bottle. Thank you Alley!!

I hate to post this because I LOVE the entire staff here but today I encountered a HORRIBLE experience with the door man. He was extremely rude to my friends and I . Asked me "are you high or drunk" then asked my friends "are you meeting friends" this man needs to be removed immediately he’s hurting the establishment, even the locals complained about him and called him weird.

Nice pub to go, talk and dance to pop music. Nothing too crazy which is nice. The prices and the service are aceptable as well as the location. Dancefloor doesn't open until 10 pm.

I went to the bar on Halloween just to socialize, but I left early because of rudeness from two employees. First, as I was going inside, a bouncer decided to be a smart-ass to a customer, me, by saying sarcastically, "You’re welcome" even though I was by then at a distance I had not said thank you, nor was I wrong not to engage with that employee. Once fully inside, I reported the insult to two other employees, one of which, fittingly wearing a jail costume, said that the bouncer at the front door was "just doing his job." I countered that being rude to customers is not part of any job at a restaurant/bar. I was going to eat there, but I did not feel like enabling such a pathetic business so I left and ate at home. Also, the management is cheap on portions of some ingredients in some entres, which are unbalanced as a result.

First gay bar I've been to in about 23 years. Really looking for dinner after a late show. Pretty entertaining bar with really good karaoke singers. Food was pretty good. Burger would have gotten the 5 star if it weren't for the bun. Not a fan of the cold dense bun. Burger was tasty though. My husband got the nachos, which were pretty. Bar tenders were busy but managed to give good service.

Really fun bear bar. Bur nobody would talk to me besides the bar tender. Come on Boston gays - say hi to strangers! If people had been more friendly- would’ve been 5 stars!
