Scotty is one of the best bartenders you'll ever encounter. Bar was crazy busy, but Scotty was working twice as hard. Kept our drinks flowing and he was so entertaining! Ordered the Jalapeño Poppers and they were great! Highly recommend dropping in here and experiencing the friendliness of Madonna's. If you're lucky, Scotty might share his poetry book with you!

I love this place. The chili is outstanding. The jukebox with or without injecting credits is doing a phenom plalylist. The folk I meet there and bar-staff are salt-of-the-earth, and Downtown Jimmy Brown's poetry is 👍👍👍. (Ask barstaff to buy a copy). It's hard, as an American these days, to truly feel at home with *all* your neighbors. At least, for me, this is it. Home. Like where the country road took me back to. G-d bless.

Great food . Reasonably priced. Friendly staff. I went there for lunch today 1/23/26 and had a very pleasant experience.

Update 2; Great for lunch too, plus Lindie got you covered at the bar, then Scottie after 7 pm. Update 1: Pleasantly surprised they have a few N-A beers. Food and bevs still a good value. ----- Initial Review ----- Great neighborhood bar, lunch and dinner always on point. Fast service. Best wings for your money. Cheap drinks too. Four TVs, a Touch tunes music player, a pinball machine, and one of those touch screen gaming consoles. Also has an ATM. Within a block from Fountain Square and several hotels, so it's as welcoming for travelers passing through as it is for us local regulars.

I stopped by this place a few years ago on my way to New Jersey, and since I had to rest in Cincinnati for the night, I walked around my hotel and found this bar out of blind luck. This is the place I met Scott, the bartender that evening. I’ve never seen someone with such natural talent for bringing people together; he connected the entire bar, and every conversation felt easy, warm, and memorable. As a solo traveler, getting the chance to talk to new people really rejuvenated me after the hours of silent driving! Scott made that very easy. While moving houses today, I found his book: "Life Behind Bars" and was reminded of just how awesome that night was. After years, I read the entire piece, and I have to say that this man is a real talent. I enjoyed every piece in the book. Hope more people can read it too. As a bar, this place has it all... A welcoming environment, amazing drinks, and incredibly friendly people. Hope that I'll see Cincinnati again one day! Raising my next glass to Scott, a true man of literature! Respect!

Lindie is the best bartender in the city, Mike is the greatest short order grill cook of probably all time, and I’ve never left Madonna’s without a smile on my face and a better day ahead of me. Lindie never misses a beat or a smile and will memorize your drink order after your first visit. I come in with my best friend all the time and we like to share a few things to eat—Mike always splits and plates things evenly for us without us even asking. Booze prices are incredibly fair, food portions are more than generous, and you’ll never feel out of place at this bar wherever can feel like they’re right at home. A true gem in the Queen City. BIG LOVE, MADONNA’S CREW!!!!

Maybe I didnt give them a chance. I went in it was about 5 people at the bar, I said hi to the bartender and sat down At the bar. Maybe the conversation he was having with the other customers was that good he ( the bartender didnt speak or say hi how can I help you?) I sat down and waited. ...... nothing.... I went to KNOCKBACK NATS !!! They have the BEST WINGS AND AMAZING SERVICE AND THE PRICES were cheaper then the parking!
