Dragons Lie here

I have been here a few times, it's generally a fun time. The bartenders have all been respectful to me, and the do their jobs well, especially considering the amount of people that go there. The only things I could see being weird: -The upstairs bathrooms are treated as hangout spots, so the downstairs ones are best for privacy. -It's super crowded. -It's cash only but they have an atm. -Bright flashing lights upstairs and loud music. My FAVORITE parts: -The outdoor seating, which I love to go to when I'm feeling overwhelmed or overstimulated. -The dancers, who are all incredibly nice and attractive -The Bartender's are stressed but still do their best to be respectful/nice -The people I've met have generally all been kind, and tend to produce a fun environment. In general, I definitely recommend going at least once. If you hate it, then at least you know

Great dive bar in Pittbsurgh. Smoking allowed. The 2nd floor is fun. Loved the dj and EDM music. We danced all night long. Friendly people. I rated 4 stars instead of 5 because they don't take card. Only cash.

I've been coming here for five years. Great dive bar because of the staff. Despite the owner who treats them like indentured servants by honking horns and shouting at them in public expecting them to snap to her attention while they're serving customers. But to the owners credit the members of the lgbt community who are alienated by family have a place to go for a free meal and community on holidays.

I love visiting this place whenever I visit Pittsburgh. There are 2 levels, the first being a sit-down bar and the second having a bar and dance floor. It has a lovely gritty feeling and everybody I have met here has been inviting and inclusive. The music has also been good to dance to which is rare to find. Definitely visit this place if you are part of the LGBTQ+ community looking for a fun night out in the city.

Tried to apply to dance and was faced with adversity, based on the fact of an assumption that I stole money from the bar, when all I was doing was tipping the dancers from my change. Bob. Upstairs is rude and unprofessional. This is not a place that is friendly for black queer people as most spaces in Pittsburgh are not

Didn't waste time downstairs with the smokers but instead went right upstairs to enjoy the packed yet fun dance floor and the even more fun go-go dancers, was about 6 when we went. Planning a Pittsburgh trip just to hang out here more now lol

I wish it was mentioned more in the reviews that this is a SMOKING bar. It's 2023 and there are still SMOKING bars around. They make no qualm about it with big fat signs on the door. We were there Friday around 10 as this was the gay bar from our hotel. The bar itself was pretty quiet with a few people smoking by the bar. It's busier on the top with 3 go-go boys dancing in a room filled with smoke and older folks. We walked out to the back patio and got recruited by a table of customers from out of town in Pittsburgh for a convention, who were also at the back outside coz they didnt want to burn their clothes after going to the bar as well. We hung out with them for a drink which was fun. As we were leaving the bar picked up a little just around midnight. The location of the bar is interesting. The bar resisted a buy out so the new development has to build around them now. Power to them in that regard. But if smoking bothers you. This isnt the place for you.
