OMG they literally have the best fries, and Carl is amazing in back of house. Fresh delicious food. Definitely a local treasure that you should stop by and say hi. If Jess is working ask about her weenies.
This little dive bar is like home to me. You get to know the people here and it's always great to come back. The bartenders are the best there is, the food kicks butt and the music is great when there are bands playing. I love the Riffhouse!
Fun pub, very very dive bar like so if you are looking for a no thrills no dress up come have a drink this is definitely a place to consider. The only small complaint is smoking indoors is allowed (even tho most go outside) so you stink of smoke at the end of the night. If you're looking for a "quiet" date night place this is not it, if you're looking for a fun night of drinking and some excitement this would be the pub.
It's fine for an old, white guy bar. Service was about average, but there were some unidentifiable gross blobs at the bottom of my drink. I appreciate them having a smoking section and a non-smoking section, even though people came into the non-smoking section with cigarettes and none of the workers stopped them, lol.
This is a best hidden spot in Chesapeake and the owner Kim is awsome for keeping music alive in this city. The bartenders are amazing Nicole(so in love with her) , Jess , Rich and Caroline are extremely amazing, sweet and talented people. The food is also amazing best cooks in south Norfolk. I’m there 2-3 times a week for a reason.

Not my spot but I take my son there to listen to metal music. He's 15 and he loves it. But again not my spot.
