Without a doubt, this cozy, relaxed and welcoming venue is becoming one of my favorites. The bar staff are friendly and outgoing. Convergent notes itself as being an LGBTQ bar, but it's proven to be welcoming to the local Goth scene (yes it still exists), the alternative community and really anyone seeking a laid-back venue to sip drinks with friends. Shows here are fun and very creative.
The owner is a legend, been in the bar and entertainment scene for alternative bats for decades. He's awesome. The bar hasn't been there a year and already seems like it's drawn a great group of friendly customers.
Shenanigans on drink prices. Ordered two drinks and was $13.50 which is unusually high for the area. Friend goes to order the same two drinks, and it's $11.50. Clearly there are some shenanigans happening. This occurred with the same bartender. Only plus I can say about this bar is that smoking allowed. A rarity to find a bar that one can smoke inside of. Other than that, don't bother. Plenty of other options in the area. $5 cover on a Friday night for drag show and trashy run-of-the-mill music afterwards with deserted crowd for informational purposes.
Best bar in town to hang out with friends and meet new friends! The staff is above and beyond excellent and really take care of their guests! If you haven’t stopped in, all are welcome!
Best club I've ever been to. The owner is an awesome individual. Granted I only go to Goth Nights and I'm biased since my S/O is a DJ there but a fantastic atmosphere.
Nice friendly staff and people. Good drinks and clean restrooms. The music was good but I would have loved a little more up to date music with a lot more variety.
Loved it first time being in a drag Club absolutely loved it I went with my boyfriend and his two friends friendly staff and amazing show
