The Dark Lady

I have no idea why they keep DJ Jake on retainer. He always plays the same songs with the weirdest transitions. You can see people want to dance but can’t because the music is boring and/or has no rhythm. The dancers try but they also look exhausted by the music. It makes me sad because Providence has SO MANY AMAZING QUEER DJs and I can’t understand why Dark Lady keeps headlining a DJ who can’t get a crowd, let alone keep one. My friends and I stopped going here because of him

This was the place to be on New Years eve, and I'll definitely be coming back because this place has it all. They've got the pole, the stage, the disco ball, and even a separate room for your more casual bar-goers to sit down and chat. Only downside is that the drinks are a bit pricey

Great gay bar. Love the atmosphere. Employee are so great and make you feel welcome. Drinks are the best.

Music is amazing. Always have great interactions with the other patrons here.. however, when I was there last Saturday, I asked a bartender to make me a ketel one martini straight up w a lemon twist. Dude literally gives me the most nasty side eye and goes "I can try" HA. What do you mean "i can try...." its one of the most simple drinks you could possibly ever make. Ordered one next door no problem at the Alley Cat... So what on earth is with the attitude 😂 are they not normally allowed to make drinks that strong? Do they only do that over on the other side at Alley Cat 50 feet away? (the two bars are connected) Do they not have the right glassware for it? Idk. Still a good time there, but the bartenders are definitely pretentious and RUDE. And it's not the first time this has happened!!

Had one of my favorite nights here at zombie night. Staff, dancers and crowd were amazing. Definitely will be back

I went there for a show and I paid for a ticket. A guy kicked me off before the show started because I was carrying a bottle of beer for my friend and I’m under 21. I wasn’t drinking. And they weren’t to listen to me at all and keep saying you have to leave, this is our policy. Nobody tells me what the policy is before I got in. Bro, first thing u have to learn is how to listen.

Never been here, but the chances of me coming here have been killed due to hearing from my friend that a female bartender had the nerve and prejudice to make fun of his medical condition. Nope. Never coming here.
