Great Caribbean spot—Island Cz Lounge brings the island energy! Food was tasty: jerk chicken smoky and spicy (juicy perfection), oxtail tender in rich gravy, rice & peas well-seasoned, and fried plantains sweet and crispy. Portions solid for the price. Service was friendly and quick (bartenders mix strong drinks). Atmosphere is lively and fun—dim lights, good reggae/dancehall vibes, dance floor energy—feels like a mini Caribbean escape, though it can get loud/crowded on weekends. Solid for food, drinks, and vibes—definitely going back!

It was very loud, but people were having a great time dancing. Nice vibe. However, everyone was smoking. The service was horrible, no one came to take your order and when they did they forgot about you. Overall, it was ok.

We visited the restaurant at 11pm on a Monday night. There were guys sitting smoking and drinking in the area before you enter the restaurant. No one greeted us, we sat ourself by the entrance. The staff was not pleasant and worked in a very nonchalant way, almost like they were patrons and not staff. Our food came out quickly, and was very good, but as we were enjoying our meal, this guy hops on the host station, and lights a big spliff, no regard for us what so ever. The same guy must have worked there, because I saw him go behind the bar several times, it wasn't even 12am. Overall, the food and music was a 10, but service, staff mannerism and respect is very poor.

We were a group of about 8 that came early on a Friday night. I guess they are not used to patrons so early because a wet left or seems that's when people stayed coming in. Anyway it was just one server so I can't be too harsh. He was talking orders, working the bar and trying to do the music until the DJ came lol. The tables were sticky and we asked to wipe them down. Easy fix. Since he was solo things took time. Because of the slow service they did give us a carafe of rum punch which was nice and strong. The food was okay. We ordered the plate to share and a few entrees. My friend got the snapper which was a good size and looked really good but not as flavorful as you would think. Overall the vibe is there maybe we would have to come later when the rest of the staff comes.

Found this place on a whim after completing some shopping nearby. This restaurant practices social distancing and contact tracing so I appreciate their follow through. I ordered their reggae pasta( you select which protein to add), which is penne pasta shells with lobster meat ( it was real lobster) and shrimp. My friend ordered baked salmon, veggies and fresh mashed potatoes. Overall the experience was cool. The food was enjoyable and filling. Even though there were areas for minor improvements I will return to support.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Island Cz. Shelly was our waitress. I was thoroughly impressed by the impeccable service provided by her. From the moment we were seated. She greeted us with a warm smile and was ready and open to take our order. I like her.
