On The Rocks Joliet

Cool bar ! Music way too loud for as small as it is. BUT the highlight is the taco truck here on Fridays it's on the side of the building close to the door, and you can bring the food inside!. Truck gets there around 9pm and stays until 2am.

This place was quite interesting. The guest greeted us instead of the staff. We stood in front of a table that needed cleaning and no one acknowledged us nor came to clean it. We were so ignored that when I finally got one of the staff members attention for some napkins instead of her saying she will come clean the table she handed me napkins for me to clean it. I asked for the napkins because it was apparant that they were not coming to clean the tables after guests left. We stood there for awhile and I just wanted to sit down.

Nice place to get a drink. It was all decorated for, National Lampoon Christmas Vacation. They had some cool blowup and spots to take pictures.

First off i am laughing at the negative reviews. (There's clearly a handful of Divas and problem children for sure reviewing this lol). This place is great and i have been going there since 2013. It used to be a Great Blackhawks bar but for whatever reason it stopped. (had a red light on the ceiling when they scored and loud train horn that mimmicks being there) but its no longer there and they don't even put the game on anymore (yes, i want to watch even if they are not good anymore). But prices are good and the Frozen pizzas are incredible. I sometimes go for the pizza (and im not joking...their meatlovers is incredible and i still cant get over that its frozen pizza). Anyway, great bartenders, very nice atmosphere overall. It is located in the nice part of Joliet so every once in a while you get riff raff from the east side make its way there (hence negative reviews). 5 stars all around.

Smelled. Only one Bartender. It was Bingo night I guess. First time in there and last. Sat there for 10 min outside the actual bar at the table no knowledgment. No would you like a drink. She was more interested in the regulars I guess and standing next to some guy and talking to him at the end of the bar. That's ok I went somewhere else to get my beer. There loss. I wont bring anyone there. There loss. I guess they arnt interested in new buisness.

Here's a review you might consider leaving: --- "I had an incredibly disappointing experience at On the Rocks. After waiting for over 10 minutes without any acknowledgment, I felt completely ignored. It seemed like the bartender was more interested in flirting with other customers than in providing service. When she finally approached me, her first question was whether I was gay. This blatant discrimination was unacceptable and left me feeling uncomfortable. I would not recommend this establishment to anyone. Terrible service and a lack of professionalism make this a place to avoid!" ---

to the dark headed bartender who was working tonight was ABSOLUTELY hilarious for getting rowdy once security escorted us out for her to then try & lunge at me when security was blocking the door . just wanted to say that was cute & i hope she doesn’t catch the wrong one on the wrong day bc tonight she was blessed <3 this establishment is one sided didn’t even hear us out but not surprise she was probably doing the man who was starting the issues 😩 -0/10 spend your $ somewhere else
