Blush Underground Salon

Bedford Hall is such a solid spot in Stamford. The food is always flavorful and well-portioned, with elevated comfort dishes that actually hit. Everything tastes fresh and thoughtfully made — not just typical bar food. The cocktails are strong and well-crafted, and the vibe is fun without feeling chaotic. Perfect for a casual dinner, date night, or grabbing drinks with friends. Definitely a go-to local spot.

Atmosphere is great, food is fantastic. Everything we ate was really delicious. I tried to choose a favorite but ultimately it was easier to choose a least favorite thing because everything else was tied for favorite. Service was slow—understandably, because it was packed—but slow enough that it did start to impact our enjoyment of the meal a little. Basically, I don't mind if food takes forever as long as they stay on top of drinks, but my drink was often empty and I at least need something to sip on while I wait. We'll definitely come back, but it'll have to be on a night when we're feeling patient.

Went for snacks and drinks. Beer is a beer. Had the calamari. Tiny portion and over priced. Tomatoe sauce tasted like Ragu from the jar. Breading fell off the squid. Didnt even finish it. Drank our beers and left very disappointed.

As usual, I was on the hunt for something delicious, and it felt like a burger night. I searched for the top burgers in Stamford and found this place. I placed my order over the phone with Nicholas, who told me it would be ready in 15 minutes. I gave it 25 minutes just to be safe. I came here late at night for a delicious burger, and I was not disappointed. I ordered the craft burger based on reviews and Nicholas’ recommendation. It was big, juicy, perfectly cooked to medium, and had a wonderful char taste—almost too charred, which I never thought I’d say! I added a fried egg and bacon on top of the already stacked ingredients, and while all the flavors were delicious, with the egg and bacon added, it might have been too many ingredients for one burger. The inside was very spacious with a real tavern feel to it, which added to the atmosphere. No issues with the food whatsoever, but when I arrived, no one greeted me, and I had to wait about 10 extra minutes for the burger to be ready, even though it was dead inside, as you can see from the picture. That’s the only thing keeping this from being a 5-star review. I’ll definitely be back though!

The place looked very nice inside. Unfortunately the food didn't match the atmosphere. The medium rare burger was well done not a drop of pink. The RIGATONI BOLOGNESE had only 15 pieces of pasta. The New England Clam chowder was over spiced and inedible. The wedge salad was not actually a wedge salad Fries were greasy. When the best part was the pretzel it's a bit sad.

Went for lunch on a Monday. There was virtually nobody eating there. But no matter. Our service was good, the food was excellent. And the cook paid attention to the details as the presentation was great. Everyone could have taken the day off and phoned it in since no one was there but us for most of the time. They didn't though. They deserve 5 stars.

I had a terrible experience here and would not recommend coming. This bald guy, who I think was the manager, kept watching over our server and was making our table feel very uncomfortable. Things got worse when we asked for a food item a certain way and it did not come out as we hoped so we asked for it to be remade. After this we saw him yell and verbally berate our server for the mistake, which made us feel very bad for the poor server; it's definitely not something you want to see when you go to eat. We even saw our server go into the bathroom crying which made us feel even worse. The food was good but kind of expensive. Will definitely not be coming back after the hostile environment. This restaurant should have more empathy for their workers.
