Progress On Main

I’ve been to Progress on Main a few times, and overall it’s been a decent experience. I’ve had a good time each visit, and the place has a laid-back vibe that makes it easy to hang out and enjoy yourself. The atmosphere is okay, nothing over the top, but comfortable enough to relax and socialize. The food was okay, not bad but not especially memorable, and the drinks were also okay and did the job. It’s a solid local bar if you’re in the area and looking for a casual spot to grab a drink and unwind. Nothing really stood out as amazing, but nothing was bad either. Overall, it’s a decent place to stop by if you’re nearby.

Absolutely amazing bartender—friendly, attentive, and clearly passionate about what they do. Drinks were perfectly made, and they made everyone feel welcome. Would happily come back just for the service! Thank you Chanel

My party reserved two tables tonight and no one was helping us so we had to get in line to get drinks. The line was so long and when it was finally our turn to order one of the female bartenders deliberately ignore us and took the guy behind us order first. Very discouraging because we spend at least 25+ min in line. Drink are also higher in prices compared to other breweries. Place is small and boring. Pretty empty and the food is mid. I had not been there for years, but no wonder it’s dead. Employees have bad attitudes would NOT recommend this place

Came here for Super Bowl and was really disappointed in the place. for starters they didn’t have the half time show playing through the speakers just through the tv, the blonde woman with tattoos kept taking shots while washing dishes. I don’t know what establishment allows that. So unprofessional, the only good thing was the clean restrooms. Don’t see myself coming here again

Progress on main is located in downtown El Monte, it is spacious and with a sports bar vibe. I love that all the staff were so friendly and accommodating, it def left us a very good first impression of this place! It’s a good place to come for happy hour! Even on Saturday, happy hour is from 4pm-8pm. Friendly staff + Drinks with a fair price!

Through Yelp Elite This was an interesting event since we've never heard of this place. We got there around 8:30 PM on a week night and the place was fairly empty. We didn't get a goody bag compared to the other reviews though. Food/Taste/Flavor: 5/5 - Yelp event drink was very spicy but the SO loved it with the tamaroca around the rim. Didn't care too much for the paper even when soaked with liquid. Ambience: 5/5 - fairly quiet and lots of space! There were a few pinball machines and many tv with different games on Service: 5/5 - We were greeted fairly quickly and once checked in they were able to get our beer but only the male bartender knew how to make the special event drink. Value for price: 5/5 - fair pricing for drinks. Would come back for the happy hour and to try more drinks! Thank you TD, Progress on Main, and Yelp for putting together another fun event!

This cocktail bar is fairly new - very surprisingly spacious. The drinks are very good and have nice presentation considering the cost of the drinks on the cheaper end. The bartenders/staff are super friendly and professional - which is ideally why we’ll come back for a future cocktail experience. Thanks guys - cheers! 🍸
