The Husk

Exactly what it’s supposed to be: an urban hangout bar. Very comfortable for sports and/or large gatherings. Warm and cozy yet spacious and comfortable. And the bartenders/staff are extremely friendly. Great location! Great daily drink specials!

Husk is one of my go to spots! The staff is great and the food is top notch. The staff member alonzo always is super respectful and brings great energy to the business. Me and my friends have a great time when visiting him at the bar! Will continue to be a regular because of this man! Keep up the great work!

This place is hopping. They have the TV volume on for the games and they have multiple games on. Seats are comfortable banquette style with low tables or booths. Menu has items for sharing or for individual meals. Had the beef and lamb gyro and it was delicious. The sauce was just right, both fries and tater tots were good. They provide plenty of ketchup packets that were hiding under the sandwich wrap.

I wish I could give 10 stars.I came in on the one snow storm we had in the last 6 years on the beautiful coast of Wilmington. I’d like to consider myself a regular but this day was special to me. A hospitality level I’ll never forget. I had some ice on my UGG boot and tripped- Alonzo caught me mid fall. Possibly concussed- I found refuge in The Husk. Alonzo nursed be back to health with perfectly salted tater tots & home made Jell-O shots. If I believed in Disney fairytales- I would believe The Husk (while Alonzo is working) could make that a reality. After I was recovered he actually taught me how to play the meanest most calculated game in pool. I feel so sad for people who will never experience Alonzo’s kindness and warm heart. Long live Alonzo and long live the husk .

Great food, streamlined menu, perfect. One of the best fried chicken sandwiches you'll have. Super cool setting, great for large family gatherings. Plenty of seating and room at the bar.

One of my favorite places to bring people when visiting. Their sandwiches are great. Its so hard to choose between the fries and the tots, both yummy choices!
