Croke Park
Croke Park stands out as a neighborhood pub with a welcoming atmosphere and a strong sense of community. The staff, often praised for their friendliness, contributes to a pleasant experience with their attentive service. Patrons appreciate the affordable drinks and the option to bring or order their own food, making it a convenient spot for a relaxed evening.
While the overall experience is generally positive, there have been occasional reports of inconsistent service. However, the free pool and darts add to the bar's charm, and the casual vibe makes it a favorite among locals and visitors alike. The cash-only policy is a minor inconvenience, but the on-site ATM helps mitigate this issue.

I found this bar on Reddit and oh my GOD. Visiting from out of town and this was exactly the vibe I wanted from a bar in Boston. You cannot get a better vibe from a bar. Owner was so nice!!! Workers??? Incredible. Patrons??? Made me feel at home. Literally best bar experience ever!!! Deserves all the stars in the world✨ Angelica was such an incredible bartender!!
Wonderful Boston dive bar!!! Everything you look for in a traditional dive bar!! Bartenders are sooo friendly! Cash only- have an ATM on site
The brunette women bartender with the glasses and the beanie named Danielle was extremely rude and combative to our group. The 4 of us tried to grab a drink before our 5:00 reservation at Pagu across the street. Its not busy she told us to sit at a 2 top when we have 4 people. We pulled another table and she came up to us and said if it gets busy we have to give up the 2nd table. We asked if we could move to a larger table she said that table was for more than 4 people. It was not busy, there were 5 open tables when we got here. Friend ask what was on tap she said menu is above the door. Theres no sign or anything about waiting to be seated or where the menu is. Ordered a vodka soda got a vodka water. Drinks are weak, small, and overpriced dont bother coming here unless you want to have a combative dining experience with the waitstaff.
This place lives up to its claim to be the world’s greatest dive bar. If you hate good banter, if you like your drinks watered down and if you don’t like free pool and darts, do not go here. Steve the barman treated us like family while we were there. Loved it so much we had to come back. Thanks for the shirts Steve! ❤️
Great dive bar. In boston from Out of town and so nice to have regular priced..bartender guessing is the owner. What a super nice dude. Took care of us on our 2 hour visit. Free darts and pool. Good time. Good regulars
Very nice neighborhood pub. Nice music and vibes, good beer, cheap prices, you can bring/order your own food, pool tables, darts.. I like it.
Hellva experience, wonderful people, friendly and fun. Cheap drinks! Puts the Dive in Dive bar, love it from New Mexico.
