I went last night to this bar and had such a great time and a little too much to drink which typically I do not do. Everyone is super friendly and the best of all is that the owner is the bartender. You get to play your music if you want to and super affordable. This is my first time in the state which I went for commencement and will definitely return.

I really don’t understand the people giving only one star…its really not hard to follow the rules…also just because you look over the age of 21 doesn’t mean you get a free pass from showing ID…its literally the law to check ID’S if the worker doesn’t they can lose their job..

I am so glad that we found The Stoned Wall!! My partner and I were looking for a place for drinks after a family wedding, and found The Stoned Wall at the recommendation of a friend. It was a quieter weekend night and the bartender and other patrons were friendly, which isn’t always the case for a straight-presenting couple. I appreciate the bar’s commitment to community through their events and local art on the walls. We each had the best espresso martini around and were filled with queer joy. The only disappointment is that we don’t live closer! I hope to return for visits and shows in the future.

The Stoned Wall is a hidden gem in downtown, offering a warm and inviting atmosphere that makes it feel like home. The layout encourages social interaction, with a mix of high-top tables and comfortable bar seats, making it suitable for both intimate gatherings and lively celebrations. The owner Jared was fantastic and very attentive. The Drag brunch was a hit and had everyone laughing and dancing in their seats. I highly recommend checking this place out! This was the first bar my partner and I have ever been kicked out of. I thought this was going to be a safe space for us in NH but it was the complete opposite. We traveled to see family for easter and decided to get a hotel the night before and near by was a LGBTQ friendly bar. It was 9:30PM and we entered after exploring other places. My partner had to use the bathroom before playing pool and getting a drink. We usually go into bathrooms together but when we did here the bartender and another guy IMMEDIATELY started banging on the door. I didn't open the door right away because my partner's pants were undone so he could go potty! The bartender banged on the door until I opened it. When I opened the door my partner was putting his belt back together and they assumed that could only mean one thing! They accused us for doing "things" in the bathroom which I won't repeat. They wanted us out asap and didn't want to hear a word from us, but we didn't leave without speaking up! Me and my partner have been together for over three years and have been outcasted before because of our age gap. My partner is the sweetest human being I've ever met. That wasn't right... to blindly assume all of that and kick us out.

Just walked and was met with a very pompous bartender! There was a total of 4 people in the whole place! After our interaction it makes sense! Walked out and took our business elsewhere! So much for gay pride! HaHaHa! Why are you writing in the third person? Thank you for proving my point by your dissertation! The state of NH has no law requiring bartenders to ID everyone! In New Hampshire, bars are required to check IDs for anyone who appears to be under the age of 21. Which we were clearly over 21! Perhaps a liquor enforcement refresher is in order for you to continue as a bartender! Thank you though for acting the way you did! Your lies were funny and the whole bar got a good laugh on you! It made us change locations to a near by bar who greeted us upon arrival (unlike you) and gave us the respect all individuals deserve! The bar was packed! Wisdom has been chasing you but can’t catch you! Best of luck until the next name change!
