Meanwhile Bar, Inc.

My friend and I evidently arrived before the crowds, but Meanwhile quickly got busy after that. It was our first time there, and it’s quite the happening place. There are movie posters from a local designer all over the place, and it almost feels like a diner. They have a nice draught list, and although there’s often a line it moves pretty fast. I think the crowd tends to be on the younger side, but I didn’t feel uncomfortable. It seems like quite a nice bar to me, and I’d be happy to visit again.

So glad (and lucky) to have discovered this gem. Terrific drink selection. Friendly staff. Awesome vibe. Amamzing (quirky) Art! All this for a seemingly inconspicuous dive. Pretty busy late night, young crowd. It's the perfect kind of weird. Would return to Grand Rapids just to visit this bar again. Buy yourself a t-shirt!.. And, a screen printed poster, while you're at it.

Fun artsy atmosphere with cheap drinks and really great drink specials until midnight. We stopped by twice when we were visiting since it was such a laid back spot. The bartenders were friendly and helpful.

Best bar in the city bar none. Love Tammy Vandenberg 's ownership she's a local public servant and she rocks!

Nice spot on the east side with a good patio space. Excellent venue for some euchre with friends. Friendly staff and welcoming environment, they have a lot and there’s street parking around.

Well I loved this place; artsy vibe, less dive bar, more friendly hangout. Cracking selection of pinball machines, really friendly and open crowd, bar person was great. Felt right at home here, plus the nice chap behind the bar introduced us to the awesome music of Tanner J Burns.

Pretty fun spot. Pinball, backyard when it’s warm. Good drink specials.
