Dui Hata Massage

I’ve been a client at Dui Hata for close to two years now. At my most recent appointment, using hands, forearms, and body weight, Bimol applied traditional deep tissue massage on my quads, which were aching from a too-long bike ride. Later in the massage, Bimol made a connection with one finger on my supraorbital notch and the finger tips of his other hand on the base of my skull. He asked me what I was feeling, making slight adjustments to position and pressure until he found a nervous system connection between these two points on opposite sides of my skull. This, in combination with trigger point therapy and deep tissue work on other parts of my neck, shoulders, chest and back relieved me of the stiffness and occasional numbness I feel in my neck. He also restored the full range of motion to my neck. What a relief. The ortho-bionomy mode, which he used intermittently throughout the session, delivered a satisfying, restorative stillness. Bimol ended another excellent treatment with assisted stretching (at my request).

Each session begins with an attentive consultation to understand your specific needs. In my case, he has been instrumental in rehabilitating my shoulder to regain range of motion and in relieving chronic tightness from weight training. His approach is highly adaptive; no two sessions are ever the same because he intuitively addresses what your body needs in that moment. His mastery of deep tissue work is a particular gift. I consistently leave his table feeling cared for, deeply relaxed, and smiling. It is an incredible feeling of lightness, as if I could float away. I cannot recommend Bimol more highly—he is a true master of his craft.

I had the best massage of my life with Bimol. His hands are magic and understood what my body needed better than I did. He did everything, from working little knots to long sweeping motions with his whole arm up and down my legs; just incredible. He is a warm person with such a pleasant spirit and he genuinely cares about his clients. The vibe of Bimol’s massage was unique and so wholly relaxing despite the "work" of actively releasing tension. I cannot WAIT to see him again!

Literally the best massage I've received, and I've gotten tons. Bimol is very professional and attentive, and knows exactly how to ease my problem areas (mostly the back, legs, and hips). He's also very attuned to how my body works and how it responds, and that sense of getting an individualized treatment is not something I get from other massage therapists. Highly recommend.

I have been going to Dui Hata Massage since April on a regular basis for an injury. He is a trained professional with certifications and great knowledge. I have a problem with my back and he pulled out his medical books to show me! I always feel "heard" when I am on his table. I have appreciated the variety as well over the months. The office is clean, "zen" and comfortable. Bim has a welcoming personality and I felt comfortable to talk to him about what I want. Definitely recommend.
