As a bartender in Hillcrest, I put a lot of stress on my body—and this has become my go-to spot for relief and recovery. Highly recommend!

If there were 6 starts I would give it!!! I have been seeing Hugo for massages for about 5 years now. I am a professional ballerina and we need to be worked on quite often. No matter if you are a sports person or just looking for a relaxing experience, you will get whatever your muscles need! I never ever had a bad session, always very satisfied with Hugo. I have to say that I looked into getting massages elsewhere not once, because I live quite far away but I will also say that I pretty much regretted it. Not because they were doing a bad service, but because it does not come even close to the experience I get with Hugo! I guess if he wasn’t so good it wouldn’t be that much of a difference Ha Ha Ha Ha! Bottom line, if you need a massage of any kind, and I definitely recommend deep tissue, give it a try and see for yourself! I promise your won’t regret it! I get bad headaches and migraines, so if you have neck problems or injuries that need care you will be in the right hands! After 5 years of getting massages from Hugo I’m proud and relieved to say that as an athlete I found my own massage therapist I can always count and rely on! I am confident that my body feels better after being treated by him! ❤️

Hugo is hands down the best massage therapist I’ve ever worked with...and I’ve worked with a lot. Whether you’re an athlete, have a medical issue your working through or just simply need to de-stress, he can do it all! Highly professional, very flexible with scheduling and has extensive knowledge and expertise. I first had an issue going on in my neck and after he fixed that I now use it as my secret weapon to stay injury free as an athlete. Would absolutely recommend to anybody and everybody! Hugo is hands down the best masseur in San Diego! When you get to the building there is a parking lot right there which is a total bonus. The room is nice and warm when you arrive. We discuss what is tight and the best form of treatment. I have gotten multiple 90 minute massages and this last time we did cupping as well. By the way the 90 minute is totally the way to go. I love the cupping! You just can feel it’s doing something really good for your body. The coconut oil used for the massage makes my skin feel so good afterwards. Hugo has great intuition with how much pressure a muscle can take. The pressure is always amazing, I like deep. I cannot say enough good things about Hugo, he’s very professional and is great at his work. I have a handful of clients that also see him regularly. Not many massage therapists can deliver on a 2-hour treatment. But Hugo can. No "format" or set "routine." Nope. Hugo will let your body do the talking -- or listen to you if you prefer to explain what's going on. The upside is that the treatment is tailored each time. Balance. Sometimes you just want a massage to feel good. Sometimes you want to dig deep and know that a little pain now will bring relief later. And sometimes you want the best of both worlds. Hugo can do that. Deep with lots of pressure or lighter and more relaxing. Hugo can do both and do both well. He's been in the business a long time and it shows. He has experience and is very professional. We've been coming to Hugo for over a decade.

I have been dealing with back problem and now recently my neck and I have been through a lot of massage places and after three years in chiropractor office, then a friend recommended Hugo, Thank You!!! He has been the best for me, he is a very charming person, he always takes time and listens to your needs, and he definitely knows what he is doing. Appointments are never a problem and parking is available 99% of the time and is very convenient. I don't always write reviews but about Hugo I must.

This place is amazing. I’ve been doing eyelash extensions for years, My back has always been an issue. Thanks to Hugo he knows where all my aches and pains are. When I need a amazing massage this is where I go. It’s so peaceful inside and calming. I love the earth tones and quiet location. Best hands in town.
